TiN ceramic (that's Titanium Nitride btw, not "tin".) Coating would be a better multipurpose coating, already being a similarly matched tricovalent bond, and also providing fantastic scratch esistance to the surface of the stainless.

It also has a lovely gold color.

But again, would require werd's help.  Titanium metal does not exist as a free metal naturally.

-Oh yeah, a KOBOLD got the first cyborg kill! IN YO FACES.

But it was Hugo's control, so Hugo gets the kill, >.>-

Corai turned around, smiled. And then screamed "WHAT THE FUCK ARE THESE THINGS?" at Ironblood, SPHM, and Veminini.

@ weird: And aluminum only does in small, very rare quantities. I'm sure that it will be very useful to douse them, as long as you have something to hit them with very hard after their armor melts off.

Sorry, couldn't wait.

"Oliolli, I'm sure you have a few questions, so Hugo will answer them.  I'm going to head to the Bay12 fort to do some scouting.  I'll meet you up at the Microline Tower, if it hasn't been overrun.  It that is so, let's meet at the ruins of bay bold."

With that Zanzetkuken summoned a chrome steed, equiped it with the whispersilk cloak, rendering it invisible, activated the camo upgrade in his traveling clothes, rendering him invisible, and rode off towards the fort.

Eric whipped around, at the figure that was grabbing his injured shoulder, but the attack couldn't connect properly and only knocked it's hand away. Stunned with pain, Eric stumbled away before it was prepared to take aim with it's sword. With the precious seconds he had, He raised the kobold again and ordered it to feebly assault this second contraption while he made a beeline for his allies whom he could see a hundred yards or so in the distance, raising corpses as he went and simply ordering them to dogpile the abominations and jam joints. They wouldn't respond to his Mental Thralldom, so they weren't living, and they were completely unrecognizable externally. This didn't sound like Happyface's work, where the augmented dwarves had enough dexterity and intellect left to function, and focused on agility to end fights qickly rather than tank them, and the abomination he had confronted didn't recognize Happyface's name. Something was very, very wrong here.

Damn, ninja'd.

Hugoli addressed his soldiers wirelessly. "Don't kill Eric, now. I would like him alive if possible."

They were expecting the kobold zombies this time, and as each one came it was smashed against the wall or floor, leaving just a pulp of necrotized flesh where it was struck.

I'll be there in roughly 5-10 minutes, depending on if someone posts.

Sorry, couldn't wait.

What I do know is that I severed clockwork's link.  Because of that, I am sure SOMETHING is most likely happening at the fort.

This was unacceptable.  Weird looked at Roead. The mummy's faceless ball of wrappings that served for a head looked back.

They both nodded.

Appearing to comply with the cyborg's order to remain pliant and civil, he closed his eyes, and twitched his fingers.

He filled all the remaining corpses shuffling outside with a single, overriding purpose. Smash anything even remotely resembling a cyberdwarf, and do so relentlessly , while deading down into the infirmary. Attack with overwhelming numbers, in mass.

If what roead had said about his wrappings being made of cheap ass-chapping toilet paper was true, he was possibly the most fragile undead in the whole fortress.  Those wrappings would have to be replaced.  Thankfully, the weaver's loom shop he had dropped the spun glass fiber off at the day before was just across the hall.

They just needed to get past the guard, and get Roead some new clothes.

[Gonna be gone a few hours.]

Seeing the impending wave of new foes coming down the hall, the disabled cyborg lit a piece of cloth from one of the fallen zombies using his shocking hands. The other followed suit.

Zanzetkuken was looking over the fort with the binocular-type organism that he got in the dragonic citadel.  Things were not looking good at all.  He developed two strategies in an instant.  Which one would he use though.  Tell plumpy to make a tactical retreat, or go in loud and fast?

Your choice people!  First three votes make my decision!

[Those aren't necessarily related in any way. Clockwork has been out of the picture for weeks, there was no other evidence to suggest that he has any involvement in anything besides the business you just concluded. But the assumption that something is happening at the fort is completely valid. Something stupid is ALWAYS happening in a dwarven settlement. That's no an excuse to abandon your friends who are just as excited about getting home and ravaging whatever is ransacking the place today, though. It's never acceptable to neglect to invite friends to a party. :P]

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

My character just has a bad feeling about clockwork being separated from Hugo's mind, and he thinks that the most logical place for clockwork to act would be the bay12 fort.  Is that not a reasonable assessment?

A better one would have been the recent "inexplicable" and "unscheduled" interdimensional activity at the fortress.  Sending a divinely imbued artifact through an unstable conflux to the astral plane would have been "very noisy."

Coming to find out just what the hell was going on, given that no ID capable characters are at the fortress, would be a more than plausible reason for paying a visit.

A "reverse summoning" is a crazy, stupid thing.  I am sure it would make lots of unforseen consequences, like showing evil hugo where to come through, for instance.

That as well.

You know, the only clockworks to appear in the last thead were Hugo, Me, and Oliolli.  Mine was destroyed, but the other two are still around, albeit consolidated.  You would think clockwork Hugo would get around to creating clockwork clones for us to fight.

By the way, what is your vote on my next action?
