The two agents sheathed their swords. Delta 1 relayed the message to Mrhappyface.
"It's not him, sir. It's an ordinary kobold."
Mrhappyface frowned with dissapointment.
"Oh well. Has he stolen anything?" The agent took a cursory glance at the kobold, scanning him with his advanced optics.
"Negative." the cyborg replied.
"Well then, put out the fire! The kobold's a kobold, they're better things to waste ammunition and time on." Mrhappyface shouted.
Corai crept away as the agents got the buckets and started rushing back and forth between the well.

Meanwhile, the supersoldiers were crushing and slaughtering the centipedes. Their  enhanced bodies made immune to their conversion effects, but there was no end in sight...

"Odd, I was hoping for killing." He said, leaving. When we was out, he pulled out the two blueprints he stole.

"Cyberdwarves, and supersoldiers....... Good, good..." he said, tucking them back in.

"Zanzetkuken, I got the blueprints, I need a way to get them back to you."

I'll be gone too, until late monday night.

I wonder if that red lantern ring could be charged with planeswalker abilities? That would be a good recipe for an 11th hour superweapon...

Vemini charged the centipede, leaping onto its back and gashing it with his blade-tipped gauntlet-fingers. The beast could not whip around to dislodge him, so it scraped him against the rock wall, stunning him and knocking him off.

The dragon sent out a mindshot that temporarily overloaded the DART-3!
Huh. So they can get angry and sad and happy? Well, they're still dwarves and still augmented.

No, their minds overload with suppressed emotion, rendering them incapable to move.

Unfortunately Happyface's result has more weight. They wouldn't be affected by anything they weren't actively thinking about at the time, because in order for something to have an emotional effect, they would have to acknowledge something, and they have spent their time with the augment failing to acknowledge emotionally disturbing events.

They did not acknowledge them because the DART-3 only suppresses, and everything was unsuppressed, causing all the events effects to hit at once.

They wouldnt be affected by the events at all, because they didn't acknowledge them in the first place. They'd have nothing to react to.

Oliolli began spinning around, preparing to throw his hammer again. When he released, the slade weapon went sailing with great momentum, missing the centipede and impacting the canyon wall. A boulder was knocked loose, which fell down on the centipede and made a large wound in the chitin on one of the body segments.

Someone must be working on a huge reply, seeing as no one has posted for 20 minutes. Oh, and Corai, check your "new replies"

[The two Gizogins are walking back to their lab/office/workshop.]
You know, I've been musing over these designs of ours, and I'd like to make a few changes.  If that's alright with you, I mean.
Oh, of course.  They're far from being to my liking.  And, of course, to yours.
What's it like, anyway?
What, being an automaton?
...
Right, obvious.  It's... odd.  I have all these memories, but they're, well, they're of a different mind.  But the same mind.  It's the strangest sensation.
Is that how I explain things?  That wasn't helpful at all.  No wonder I failed as a teacher.
Well, that and you-
Yes, yes, moving on.

Are these supersonic centipedes, Kofthefens? Hundreds of miles north in a few hours?

Well, the centipede/goblin raid was yesterday, sometime shortly after you guys left to investigate the tower. He said they're roughly 100 miles north. If that was 30 hours ago, that'd put them at a speed of less than 4 miles per hour, if travel was non-stop, which is possible (and somewhat slow) for such a massive arthropod (500ft long). Relating their size to that of an elephant, it'd be a leisurely pace achieving a good day of migration. Now, how the smaller centipedes swarming around the beast make the journey is absolutely uncanny...

[I go play company of heroes to kill time and I don't even get to screw up anything D:]

Splint had gone to retreive his pike when he saw two of MrHappyFace's cyborg guards rush by and into his room. He also saw smoke, heard a familiar voice say "Sup." And imediately spun around and went back downstairs. "It's just your imagination, you can get the pike later." He kept telling himself. he didn't want to get involed in any messes involving guys who could squish his head like a mushy apple.

That particular thing almost happening in a messy explosion was bad enough.

Corai strolled down the fort, he might as well see some of his friends, he wasnt gonna come back for awhile.

"Hmmm, Zagith, Splint, or Joykill."

"Splint, or Zagith...."

"........Okay, I am just gonna go steal the stuff from the kobold room and bring it to the camp." he said, walking down the hallway, playing with his dagger joyfully. He felt invincible.

AFter what sounded like a strange conversation above, accompanied by a thud and some drunkenly slurred curses, Splint poked his head out and saw the kobold room door ajar, a sight he'd not seen in some time. He grabbed a charred goblin skull off his shelf and swung into the room, skull raised to club whatever was in there within an inch of its life.

"Freeze motherfucker! Hands up!" he shouted, then he noticed the suit. "Oh. Hey Corai. What brings you here?"
