The supersoldiers stood up from their fighting stances. The last centipede has been purged from this tower, torn apart by their mighty strength.Being faceless except for their mouths, they had no "eyes" or conventional senses, and were generally unaffected by the arthopod's attacks. They would have to keep moving if they until they found the source. They recalculated their objectives, and without knowing it, headed towards Blank's tower.
Meanwhile, in the 12th Bay, Mrhappyface spun around in his chair and drank dwarf cola. He fixed the copper pike by reshaping it. Being a dabbling weaponsmith, he was lucky to reforge it into -copper pike-. He decided to head outside, after all, he was getting rusty at woodcutting. His two agent bodyguards followed him. Unfortunately, he forgot to close the door in case a certain kobold came in...hopefully, he wouldn't steal anything valuable, like blueprints.
[But I'm in Thari's tower! Hiding out in the previously-hidden sections where the entrance to the tunnel to the centipede chasm is. But I'm leaving now anyway, and taking the two captured centipedes with me.]

After a long read of both slabs and mulling over just how the magics would work together, in theory, Eric made his way back out of the tower. The elves were more than a little concerned that he was leading two 8-foot 300-pound glowing, pulsating multi-colored centipedes out with nothing but thin rope-reed leashes, especially since a group of dwarves had just swept through to exterminate dozens of them. They mostly just gawked at the sight and made comments under their breath about how he must be insane. The elves of course didn't know of his secret. Soon, he was back at the fortress, digging an enclosure for his new pets in the walls of a column in the caverns.
