Zanzetkuken nods and says, "Then let me tell you something, MrHappyFace was the one behind the attempted kidnapping, and that your spark is already active.  I shall let you have some restricted access to the network, which will provide you with a warning in case of further attempts.  I also have something to ask, would you like a dragon to guard you?  There will be no problem with the tunnels your people dig, because this dragon would be the size of you."

Not possible. Creatures in DF die when they suffer vital organ damage or bleed/suffocate/starve/whatever, but have no "life points." It is assumed that since Df has reached 1.0 even the issues with undead and otherwise-invincible creatures have been fixed. Anything in our realm will abide by that law of nature.

What it does is cause the items to go through without damage, when excessive damage is sustained, you would then die.

Having sprinted out of the tunnel just in time, the group hit the ground. Behind them, the head of the great centipede burst from the tunnel, the 500 foot bulk trailing out behind it. The light of dawn streamed into the ravine and illuminated the iridescent chitin.

"Of course, it would be dandy." he said.


"But does that mean you will hear...everything I think?"

"Of course, it would be dandy." he said.

Zanzetkuken uttered a low laugh.  "It would, but when you are leaving, I will have one of the healers cast a spell that protects your thoughts from outside reading, unless you decide to reach outward with them, and will allow outward thoughts to come inward."

"Deal." Corai said, holding his chained hand out for a handshake.

Ironblood woke up at dawn, as was his custom. On his way down the hall to the kitchen, he looked in on Gizogin. "Mornin, lad. Say, where be everyone? There be plenty of random migrants about, but where are me battle-brothers from the last place? All on a fishing trip?"

Zanzetkuken released the chains with his mind and shook the hand of the kobold.  He said to Corai, after he let go, "If ever reconsider, the offer is always open."  The kobold left on the back of a dragon, who would carry him to where the kobold survivors were assembling, and they left out of the portal, and exited near the survivors were at.  Corai climbed off of the dragon, and it used it's pendant to return to it's plane.

Zanzetkuken then used mana to place the markings on the back of each hand of the elf, had it swear the oath to not betray those of the order, and the planes they were home to, and he began to teach the elf to cast spells, starting with one or two mana cost spells within the Elemental Thunder deck he had given the elf.

"Hello all!" Corai said, kobolds were suprised to see him alive.


"Well, arent you all just dandy, none of you killing eachoghter in my absence." he said, the kobolds just stared.



"Well, Im putting Freeble in charge for awhile, I am off to the Twelth Bay to do a favor for someone, I will grab each of you a shiny if I can." he said, grabbing a small dagger. It was candy-tipped, from the old fort. "Heh, I stabbed Joykill with this before, may as well do it again on my exit." he said, and he grabbed a flask of water and went off towrds the Twelth Bay, sneak in, trash Mrhappyface's lab, and get out with a shiny for the kobolds.

They are real, in most senses. For example, they can and will bite you. If bitten by the multi-colored one, you'll turn into a single colored one. If bitten by a single-colored, then you'll turn into a monochromatic one. If bitten by a mono-chromatic one, you'll just writhe around in pain for a few hours until you die. You really don't want to see the multi-dimensional being that spawned the multi-colored one.

"While the adult multi-colored one is wandering the country-side, the last time I was here there were several eggs for ones that size. They may have hatched."

They were crushed underneath tons of rock dislodged from the side of the ravine.

When the elf was able to summon 5 mana cost spells, Zanzetkuken taught the elf how to planeswalk between the elf's plane, and the dragon plane.  He also taught the elf how to pinpoint lifeforms and locations, so the elf could go immediately there.  Zanzetkuken returned to his plane as the elf returned to the bay12 plane, at the tower where the freed altered ones residedm, after swearing not to tell anyone about the order.

(Corai had swore the same thing, not telling anyone about the order that is.)

[I need some names for these places and the elf.  So suggest something!]
