Frost Dragons attack and freeze the beast in ice, and head back to the fort, along with the dragons in the other caverns.

Freeze? Basalt? You're gonna have to do better than that to damage such a stable material or stop an ungodly monstrocity composed entirely of it. Heating or freezing it won't really have any effect. Melting it would take hours or days. You're going to have to clobber it to pieces, and that shit is hard enough that it will also take a while to fracture it enough to break it down.

The desert titan Zoltek Thunderhammer has come! A giant tarantula composed of fire and sandstone. Beware it's acidic venom!

Abediah melts the ice with his deadly glare!

1) Which fort?
2) The caverns are sealed off for me, but not for the kobolds!

The dragons torch the kobolds on the surface, and burn the area they came out of!
A kobold has been struck down!! x100
The dragons have left.

Stalling for time was the objective.

Steel armor for dragons?  Assuming they're anything like the sizes commonly depicted in fiction, that'd be an insane amount of steel.  It'd also weigh a lot.

Anyway, I don't think I ever reported what happened when the Mks. VIII and IX went out to make sure the corai virus was completely eradicated.  Well, they eradicated it.  Completely.  I didn't even get my specimen for experimentation...

HELP!  I can't post my reply!  Other replies keep stopping it!

The two beasts spoke through their minds. Being bonded such, unlike other eldricht abominations native to this world, they could speak; though only to each other, and only understand each other.

Sister of the surface, they have come to steal the orange treasure in the earth of this land.

Hssss! Defilers! They shall be consssumed!

Weird groaned.

There on the horizon, a new set of fires raged intermittently to the west, contrasting the twin fires he had left behind, towering over the forested path he was on in the south.

A clear commotion was happening at the fortress.

Angrily, he bellowed:  "What does a man have to do to get some gods damned sleep around here!?"

"That's what I wanna know!!" Came a deep, booming and raspy voice from the dark opening of the fortress's entry.  A tall, brown-bandaged figure scuffled with its arms crossed out of the threshold and into the dusk twilight.

The two figures paused for a moment, then glared and pointed at each other before shouting in unision in equally acid tone:

"Mummy!"
"Necromancer!"

The slapstic moment continued unabated, as the two continued to shout in unision against the other.

"Stop that!"

"No, seriously, stop that!"

"Don't make me raise the dead!"

Stopping to eye one another, the caravan traders watched warily as sparks clashed between the two creatures.

You had to open it up to fight the dragons!

MrHappyface rubbed his hands in anticapation at the wave of new migrants! There were at least 50 of them! Just in time to start testing the two new augments: Ymir Energy Absorbtion Shielding and the Argus Optic Enhancements. Gizogin's blueprints sure came in handy for that.
All in all, every agent would have:
Pacification Chip
Reflex Booster
Synthetic Muscle Grafting
Thermoptic Camo
Suicide Killswitch
Dual Flechette Launcher
Thermal Shielding
Super Vision

Thermal Shielding Raw

Roead was turning red in the face, despite not having any circulation. "Oh, this is just bloody great!! First, I die in the poorest damned country in the entire world, then I get burried in a rubbish tomb, and now this! Let me guess, you're behind this excavation? You want my stores of dead bodies for your army, Necro? Eh? Well, too fucking bad wanker! All I got buried with were 3 bloody rabbits!"

HugoLuman was slumped against the wall, having given up on trying to learn walking with 4 legs for now. "Why... ish zer.... a cockney-acshent'd mmy here?"

Zoltek clicked her fiery stone fangs, dripping acid on the arid grass. She began to crawl towards the caved-in entrance to the mine, trampling tents as she went. A drop of venom fell onto a small boulder, and it began to sizzle before turning into a stony mush where it was wet.

Well, the rough adjustments were done. The Ymir Energy Shields could act as a heatsink from dragonfire, but prolonged exposure would overload them. Improving their vision would also make sure that they wouldn't get surprise attacked by the dragons. Mrhappyface only hoped that that crazy demigod dragon didn't implement the augments that he traded to him...
Waving his hand, he sent a dozen of them to Bold Bay. The KodKod team seem to have gotten results in recovering the artifacts too. Coming together...

"I don't want your gods damned rabbits! Haven't you seen the refuse pile? The things overflowing with fucking kittens! If I wanted small, cute, and abominable, I could work nonstop ad not keep up with the butcher!"

Weird shouted.

"I just want to go and get some gods damned sleep! Is that so wrong?! What the hell are you doing here!?"

By artifacts you mean dead specimens from failed grafting experiments? We've basically cleaned everything else from there. Still, a lot of data to be gathered from those. Also, see if you can get some of that healing goop.

Corai walked over to a wall, and began hitting his head on it saying "Armok, really?" over, and over again.
