Oliolli needs medical attention!  As does some other random guy!  G-Bodies VI and VII, bring them here!  VIII, you're with me.  We're going to save some lives, and I need your help.

A kobold peeks out from behind one of the large ovens in the fort. Seeing the furnace operator extract shinies from the rock, he began picking through the bins to see if there was any left over.
After picking his way through them for several minutes, he sighed in dissapoint. Only dull, boring steel. Not shiny at all.
But then something caught his eye, a bin that he missed? It was corroded and dirty, and covered with ugly scratching the big ones called "writing". But appearences could be deceiving.
He smiled a devilish little smile. Foolish man, thinking that he could hide the best shinies for himself! He rubbed his little paws together and tried to break the seals with his dagger. After a few minutes of fruitless efforts, he gave up and started dragging it back to the kobold gave. The more the merrier, and after all, it was a crime to not share shinies amongst them anyways. But what does CAUTION BIOHAZARD mean anyway?

Ah, here's Oliolli.  And that other guy.  Is that... an axe for a hand?  That's either a brilliant idea or a cruel joke.  Anyway, they're both in pretty bad shape.  VI, VII, go get the cloth, scalpels, thread, soap, water, and splints.  VIII, get to work stabilizing axe-guy; I'll handle Oliolli.  We'll need to move fast; they've lost quite a lot of blood, and we don't want them to go into shock.

Axe-Handed elf woke up. He realized 2 things. First, he had decided to call himself Jerry, having heard it mentioned by someone recently. Second, he was bandaged and recovering from surgery.

Jerry looked at his axes. And then was shocked. The heads were no longer made of flint, but of steel. A dwarf in white looked over him. "The blades were badly damaged. We had to amputate. Hope you like the replacements!"

Back at the tower, Weird, HugoLuman, and SPHM had yet to hear of the goblins. The scorpion elf had gone upstairs to gather the other elves together, but that didn't seem like the prime concern for now. SPHM was nervously leading them downwards, deeper into the earth. When they got to the bottom of the stairs, the floor was stone, meaning this level must be at the bottom of the soil.

Vemini looked as the strangers entered the room. "At last, are these the enemies of my enemy?"

Huh. I'll find a use for the thu'um soon.

Want some more shouts?  I'll gladly teach them to you so that I can perfect a machine that gives the knowledge to whoever enters it, which I will give to weird for safekeeping.

"Yes, they're gone. I think the centipedes ate them. I can't say how everyone else is doing. That dragon actually saved our asses, though. I suppose he deserves some praise, just this once. But that leader of theirs..."

I heard that, Eric.  Watch yourself from here on out.

Was anything added to the fort, while I was asleep?
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Why do you people always do the epic stuff when I am asleep?

When I am offline, and there was thead activity in that time, Hugo can control Maectur and Me, until I am online.  And you cannot put me in insanity, or a place where I am 100% sure that I or Maectur will be killed.

How about on the front lines? A dragon would sure as hell be useful fending off those invaders! Apparently while I was gone there was a sudden goblin attack, with possibly hallucinated centipedes(?) giving chase.

Sure, just don't kill him.

Anyone have an idea to logically have the entire area outside of our for become devoid of grass, besides Maectur launching a jet of fire for no reason.

Could replace "For no reason" with "Using a dead goblin tied to a tree for target practice."

That would work, but I want "making a scorched wasteland" a plot event instead.

Hugo, you have me and Maectur under your control for the next two hours.  I'm going to be watching a movie.

Kofthefens, what ARE those centipedes? Real, hallucinations, or what?

The goblins stopped for a moment, wondering were the huge jet of flames came from, and then a huge dragon head appeared around the corner. This, followed by an orange light, was the last thing they saw.

14 down, 16 to go.
