Is it odd I pictured Corai in a tux with a kobold sized sword?

And apoltergeist hanging out ominously behind the elves...?

Kofthefens hears the racket and slowly approaches through a wall. He quietly loads his crossbow...

You're holding an actual crossbow, right? Not going to tickle their livers with spectral bolts? :P

Stormtemplar disengages from the Large dwarf who apparently is married to a half-elf kobold with a sarcastic "riiiiiiight", moves between the elves and the kobolds and partially draws his sword . He asks one of the elves "Not that we don't find your consumption of sentient beings disgusting enough, but do you have any dwarf meat? If you do, we may need to let these kobolds have their way."

No, no it is not.

---

"Well, I assume that we all have come to a agreement to slaughter them?" Corai saids excitedly, holding the small stone sword he mysteriously found near Splint. Elves unbeknownst to what is happening begin to unload in the half-built depot Corai and kobolds had built.

"If we do, kobolds lead the charge."

Mustard is a brownish, sticky, oil-like substance that blisters skin, destroys eyes and lungs, and smells faintly of ground mustard. "Gas" is kind of a misnomer. Its really a horrible mist.  Its effects are very rapid, and prolonged, and painful.  That's why its banned by the geneva convention. :D

Phosgene on the other hand, is an actual gas, and is a very powerful inhaled neurotoxin. Drops people like flyspray.

I walk up to the elves, brandishing my axe, stare them in the eye and...give them a tetrahedrite encrusted microline mug. We love socks, but EVERYONE loves mugs. Besides, cloth and tame dragons could be useful.

Reudh crouches behind a tree.

He picks a small rock up, and using ancient dwarven knapping skills, he fashioned it into a razor sharp handblade about a hand length long.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Given it was made of stone, it was going to be brittle. It'd probably not last long in a prolonged fight, but it was better than nothing.

Reudh nestled the push-dagger inside his vest. He didn't want to fight, but if the battle moved over to where he was, he definitely wouldn't go down uselessly.

Both of which are terrible options with the entire population within 15 meters of the elves.

I say we smash their skulls, then bury them respectfully - which is highly disrespectful in elven society and therefore spiteful.

And a poltergeist hanging out ominously behind the elves...?

Not a poltergeist, a sadistic ghost. Though, being a player, I have the abilities of pretty much all the ghosts.  :P

You're holding an actual crossbow, right? Not going to tickle their livers with spectral bolts? :P

Have you seen the return of the king? The ghost army?

Nay, I only ever saw the first movie in it's entirety.

"If we kill them, you guys go for the legs. If they can't walk they can't fight, and you runts are the perfect hieght for that." Splint said to Corai, watching the various happenings. "No offense." He quickly added. It was a touch disturbing seeing those pointy eared pricks wearing the hides of sentients....

A bent pike made of easily one of the worst metals available. Better than stone at least...

"Strangers, it seems night is falling and you have no complete shelter. Would you like to spend the night in our dwelling? We would be happy to accommodate you."

The elves pointed off into the distance. "Our stone Tower is that way. Our Elf Meister would like to see any guests"

Quite.

That's why he came around the long way.  The spray cone will face *away* from the fortress, and up the path. :D

These are very strange elves it would seem, so who knows what they do and don't like?

Doesn't seem like a caravan, just some random elves who stumbled upon us.

The leader of the party held out a green glass pendant. "Here, a token of our friendship!"
