Wait, can I get a summery, I'm kinda lost on what's going on. Can someone bring me up to speed?

I'm digging stuff out with an intelligent dragon that I am in charge of from my mod.  You can see what weird did.  Not sure about anyone else.  Someone set up those workshops!  And a clothier's!  And don't forget the 100 meat and 20 plump helmet seeds I brought!

Seeing the digging was finished, Corai went right up to Zanzetuken.

"I want a depot, I am the best broker you have and you seen what I can do with metal-scraps. I got us several thousand dollars of food and booze in the last fortress." he said, he really wanted a depot.....

Build it up on the surface! two squares in front of the underground entrance with a secure hallway between the two!  We have a lot of stone lying around!

Read all 207 pages of the prior thread for full appreciation.  It's in fortress mode discussion forum.

Short, short version:
The old fortress recently exploded. Literally. Boom! With cats!

My character is just taking care of some "important business", given that he had the shit scared out of him recently, and has naught to wear but his chemical warfare hazard suit.... which he was wearing when said "terrifying experience" occured.

You really, really should read the old thread before jumping in. :)

Don't forget to carve some fortifications for me. Eventually, Gizogin will have built me a new body and I'll need them

We will do that later right now we are only working on the base plans. After we set up the base we can start working on those fortifications and towers.

I have just built a door for mine, and the dragon's rooms.  Those two rooms are cleared out of stone, and I built myself a bed using some wood lying around.  I have placed the bed in my room.  On the door it says enter without knocking, or while I am sleeping and you will die in dragonic, kobold, dwarf, and english.  I have armed my bow, and have it facing the door, with a string that will fire the bow if anything comes in.  It has a spell on it that automatically adjusts it to hit the head of whoever is entering without permission, and reloads itself.  I'm going to sleep, so whoever enters, dies.  I am keeping all my stuff with me.  The door is forbidden, and kept tightly closed.

Current fort:
outside-two-story cabin and underground entrance with housing.
lv -1 - nine rooms, three claimed, kobold room, and dining hall
lv -2 - five workshop rooms, and the gizogin's hospital.

Hours pass.

The sun starts to hang low on the horizon.

It was hard to tell just how long he had lounged there amid the reeds and stones at the river's edge. He had dozed off a few times though, occasionally checking the suit's dryness, and rolling it over.

Deciding he had pruned up enough laying in the swirling waters in naught but his skin, a gentle nibbling on his feet brought back memories of horror stories and stern warning concerning the native fish species.. specifically the carp problem.  He had laughed off those stories, since afterall, carp were vegetarians, and totally harmless.  The nibbling was getting pretty aggressive though.

Climbing out of the water, a silvery and gold sheen flashed below the surface, followed by a really scary large mouth sloshed and bit at the surface where he had been.  Perhaps lounging in the river really wasn't such a good idea.  Probably the only thing that had kept the dwarf devouring devilfish away had been the soap in the water.  He would have to discretely mention this little incident when he got back.

Nobody was around, and he had washed the pot out earlier after making the soap (the source of most of the suds that had collected and slowly washed away in the gyre he had chosen as his bathtub), and while waiting for himself to dry out, set about picking up nature's bounty and putting it into the pot for hauling.  He had never quite figures out why the native dwarves never did something so clearly practical when harvesting plants, but that didn't matter.

I drift over to weird joykill.

Is there anything I can do? It seems I am unable to pick up anything, let alone a pick.

Someone with a pickaxe, dig me a new workshop!  And a hospital, we'll though we hopefully won't be needing it soon.

I have

xClothesx
Iron Mail shirt
Iron Greaves
Iron Chain leggings
Iron Helm
Iron High boots
Iron Shield
Steel short sword

Hmmm. I walk inside, and look for a room to sleep in. If I can't find anything, I'll poke someone out of theirs with a sword. I'll ignore the dragon guy though, don't wanna piss off the dragon. Did I hear there were kobolds in here?

Anyone from the last thread, you must have barely crawled out alive or been saved via temporal minecart. Anyone else, go read the last thread.

Got an idea!
Someone should dig out a "Ghosts club" and then seal it with a thick wall, so only ghosts (and incorporeal manifestations) can get in.

Kobolds run at Stormtemplar, take his Shield, and put it in the middle of there small room. They then begin to carving rocks for spearheads.

Another kobold walks up to Stormtemplar, in a suit.

"I apologies, there idiots." he saids before he walks off.
