So. Can anyone tell me how I died before if that was indeed the case?

The world nearly ended, and only due to a massive combined thermonuclear, TARDIS, cat, and creeper explosion did bad things get trapped in other dimensions. Only a few people made it out, though we only know who escaped via the astral minecarts. There may be other survivors.

Stormtemplar retrieves his shield and asks any dwarf he can find

"Why are we allowing kobolds in the fortress?"

It's needlessly complicated and a hazard to cats.

I'll take twenty!

Read the last thread!

Basically, we have formed a grudging alliance through necessity, and a surviving a huge tragedy cemented it.

[We let them live there, because we assigned them to a misc goods stockpile room, and let them wander the countryside "collecting" things for us.

They have no concept of ownership, so when we take the stuff away, they don't notice too much.

"Plus I freakign downed more demons, creepers, and invaders then most of the dwarves that were in the last fort. So give me a gun or a spear and your screwed." Saids the one in the suit, obviously the leader of the kobolds in the fort.

"Oh, thens theres Indilwen. Shes half elf, if you kill her I'll give you a gold coin for your troubles."

a) There were demons and creepers all over the place, and a few daleks. Because of the powers granted to me by the Oloilli-berry, I summoned more cats. These cats took out the demons and creepers, but caused a catsplosion of daleks. Joykill killed all the cats, and fixed time somewhat.

b) All our clockwork selves manifested. I think clockwork Hugo summoned a slade colossus.  Zanzetkuken, having been locked in another dimension, because of the time-lock, gained a bunch of powers. He then returned, summoning an uber-dragon to combat the colossus.

c) The fortress exploded. Eric Blank collapsed it, I think, and everything exploded to to all the stuff with time.

No, Hugo's summoning of captain ironblood survived. (Because heros never really die.)

That's sort-of kind-of what happened. Seriously, if you want to know more just read the last 30 pages or so of that thread

Later that day, a band of elves roamed into the site of half-built cabins and roughly dug tunnels. "Ah, there are strangers in our land! We must welcome them with gifts of our special herbs!"

They shouted a loud greeting, and instantly everyone turned to see where the strange voices were coming from. Then, seeing, they scowled. As they came closer, though, something odd became apparent; the elves' clothing was made of troll pelts. Some of them carried stone spears and other simple-looking  weaponry.

"Would you like to share some delectable +prepared goblin intestine+ and +human roast+?"

Course of action?
