Corai and Splint were sitting under a tree, drinking Dwarf Cola.

"Okay, what the hell are we going to do now?" Corai said, they could either break up the party and risk death, put up with the noise, or just join in.

"I say we use magma."

"We don't have a pump or piston to get it up here. I can deal with the noise. If it means we keep the same quanity of blood in our bodies we have now, then it's all good." he sadi, watching the party. "I hope mr. handy the elf doesn't decide to chop this down with us under it..."

The thumping grows closer. Emerging over the horizon undulates a massive centipede. Its scales shimmer in a myriad of colors and it writhes in time to the music.

[Involved some limestone pipes and some kind of approximate of the leaves if I recall right.]

"ok, so I say we go inside, lock our doors, and hope for the best for the goblins." Splint said, grabbing pike, seedbag, and standing up at the sight of the massive bug.

Trailing in the centipedes wake are smaller centipedes, only 10 feet long as opposed to the large one's 500. The smaller centipedes are just a single color, and following them are monochromatic, regular sized ones. The all undulate like some kind of invertebrate line dance.

Splint wheeled around and hoisted Corai on his shoulder befor making a beeline for the entrance, clocking a goblin in the side of the head to get him out of the way. As soon as he was in front of the kobold den, Splint set Coari down and ran for his room, locking the door behind him.

He shuddered at the though of all those giant conga-line dancing bugs. Not a happy thing to see.

I can't keep up with this thread at all!  IT'S TOO MUCH!

Okay, we do indeed have a hospital, which is good.  I'll need to get it to the optimal level of bloodiness, but that's going to take some time.  I'll need to call everyone in for "routine checkups" (doctors do those, right?) anyway, so that I can see if anyone needs any of my medical assistance.  Who knows, someone could be running around the fort right now with an undiagnosed case of imbalanced humours, and they might not even know it!

My office is a bit on the small side, but it'll suffice for now.  My work can proceed!  The Mk. IX will be almost completely sentient, by my reckoning.  By the time I get to the Mk. X, it should be a perfect copy of me!  Two Gizogins, for double the flavor!  Wow, that's going to get confusing.  Still, it will mean that I won't have to divide my time between medicine and mechanics, so there's that.

One of the goblins stopped dancing and remembered what they came here for.

"Hey! We came to kill, loot, and get slaves! We aint elves, stop dancin'!" he yelled, it snapped the rest of the goblins out of there trance and they proceeded to charge underground.

Mrhappyface frowns as he finds a mysterious metal box in the ore he just smelted. The words:
CAUTION BIOHAZARD were engraved onto the side of it.
"Probably some used band-aids and needles." he grumbled to himself. It was getting late, and he already smelted enough steel to probably lay a railway across the entire world. He would throw away later. Plus, he couldn't wait to try some of that delicioius Dwarf Cola!
He walked down the hallway, leaving it where it was, and forgetting one of the most important rules of the fortress: NEVER leave anything unattended while kobolds are about.

Eric begins hacking away at goblins, narrowly dodging their blows and retreating down the hallway as they charged, to avoid being overtaken. He has no real combat experience, even if he can swing a pick like a god. There was bloodshed, but luckily the goblins consisted of a single mace squad and had mistook Eric for a skilled warrior, thanks to all the limbs they were losing if one of them tried to get close. A wall of flames engulfed a few as they passed the hallway leading to the lunatic dragon and it's master's room, and the remaining ashes and charred bones fell to the ground, sending the majority of the force running for the hills once more, and right into the army of hungry psychadelic centipedes.

Unfortunately the goblins had beaten Oliolli and the axe-handed freak to within an inch of their lives before decalring them dead and running inside. "Never party with goblins" is the moral lesson of the day.

"Are they gone yet?!" Splint shouted through hsi door when the commotion died down, unsure who was alive or not. if armed greenskins were still out there, he had no intention of unlocking his door.
