First; She is my wife.
Second; I'll probably go make a house near the trees, hopefully a spring in that forest.
Third; I'm trying to make a fortress like area so we have access to the surface and only have one way in.

There IS only one way in...

I think he means a courtyard around the keep we built

Yeah. We need a large area that we can reach outside that can grow trees.

Very well, let us set off. Let us not collapse the tower until we know if there's anything salvageable in there. And until we scoped it out. For all we know, they might have sublevels. Plus, we can't just magically lock doors without keys. And we may want to save those other kobolds; at least, I do. This game hasn't crushed the concept of civil rights out of me yet.

They left the fort, and found the elven reception party still waiting patiently. "Alright, we're here. Show us to this tower of yours."

Just to recap, who all is coming on this excursion?

I am currently trapped in the throne room, I think. Being treated as a king!

Noone rescue me yet, I am still high from that drug they force-fed me.

I'm staying behind to dig out what was requested.

Spoiler: Map of the Fort (click to show/hide)

Fully supplied emergency bunker, plenty of beds, deep underground (but not in caverns), and it should have a situation room. I think it would be a good investment, given our track record.
A properly excavated and isolated section of cavern would be beneficial as well though.

Trees, "grass", cropland.

Protection from invaders and fliers.

I just felt like saying this, but I checked out Joykill's posts.....

I have almost made more posts than him in 13 days worth of time then him in two years. I need a life, :3.

---

Corai sat on a chair that had been brought to him, he was uncomfortable, not that anything was to be discomfortable, just the fact he was in a goblin tower was almost as bad as being in a elf's cage. And elven goblin towers, he was just about to have a heart attack!

The group followed the 4 elves in the evening towards the tower. The tower was about a mile to the northwest, a short distance for frequent strollers and quite a distance for others. In about half an hour of slow walking, they reached they tower. It was about 35 meters tall, or a little over 110 feet, about 11 meters wide, and composed of an ugly slightly blue-grey stone: microline.

Then, looking down towards the door, they got their first misgiving about the visit. In the clearing around the small, warped oaken doors were more elves, about 30 of them. Only they weren't quite elves.

Some of them looked normal. Some of them had patches of bark and plant matter fused to their flesh. A few of them had stone spikes sticking through their flesh, and some of those had flint tools and weapons in place of hands. One of them had a large beehive fused to the side of his face, and bees came in and out through the stretched socket around his left eye.

All the elves bowed when they saw the approaching visitors, some of them offering forth surprisingly detailed wood and bone crafts. The doors creeked open, and at them stood the 7 foot figure cloaked in animal hides and a ram-skull mask. "I humbly welcome you to my home, o emissaries of the Goddess! I am so happy to have finally become worthy of a visit!"

HugoLuman looked at the beehive-face elf. Now he knew why he feared the night.

Corai looked about. He was seated at the head of a table, and the other kobolds sat around him. In front of him was a certainly lavish meal, though made of strange plants and copious meat. The chairs were solid obsidian, inlaid with copper. It seemed pretty nice. Then he looked to the ceiling...

The group nervously followed the master of the tower into a narrow stone hallway. Every brick was engraved with an image of scorpions doing various things. At the junction was a tapestry of indeterminate tanned skin. On the item was an image of kodkod and kobolds. The kobolds looked nervous.

Corai looked around, everyone but two kobolds were there. The one that escaped, and the one that fell to his death on the spy mission.

"Ahem, so we have everyone...but Febang and Qeeble." he said, loudly seeing if there was a echo. There wasnt.

"Okay how the hell do we get out of here? Indilwen, stay quiet elfbold. Purebred conversation." He said, he found a leaf in his face moments later.
