Weird whipped around from his heated conversation with the Great Sparrow, and glared at the hateful thing in the enclosure. Without even thinking, he had raised his right, gloved hand out in front of him with his index finger pointed at the shiny metallic capsule. Small sparks lept and danced into the air, warning of the torrent of energy waiting to be unleashed.

"You even so much as TWITCH that peashooter, and I'll ionize the fuck out of you. Do you understand, Dah-Lek!?"

"Old friends?" Cooed the ghost curiously, watching the spectacle with interest.

Things just got bad.

"The philosophical question of what is, or is not real is ill timed, tincan." Weird scowled mercilessly at the omnicidal alien chained inside its shell. "The human brain is bereft of any sensory aparatus of its own. What is and is not "real" is a very subjective subject. If you want to get technical, any universe which can exist, must exist. The concept that one thing may be a fictitious story in one univere is immaterial to the objective reality of another. This world could well be false, as could you. Then again, so could the world of my origin, and you might be the only real thing here. Try asking the deadguy behind me if he thinks he isn't real. Now. Ask yourself. Do you think YOU aren't real enough for me to not exterminate your green, slimey, deformed putrescant ass? Save the mindgames for later, cocksucker. If you were as fictional as you imply, you wouldn't find it funny to lord my ignorance over me."

The sparkling and stink of ozone intensified as a soft blue haze enevloped the angry necromancer's whole right side.

"Now start talking."

"DALEKS HAVE NO SENSE OF HUMOR! BUT IT IS MEANINGLESS. YOUR BLINDNESS WILL LEAD TO YOUR EXTERMINATION. YOU CANNOT DESTROY ME, AND I CANNOT EXTERMINATE YOU." It waved it's gunstalk; the weapon was encased in a cylinder of adamantine. "YOU POSSESS NO CONCEPT OF YOUR POINT IN THIS WORLD! YOU WERE BROUGHT HERE, AS WERE OTHERS TEN-THOUSAND YEARS BEFORE, BY ONE YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT PART OF A GAME. BUT NOW YOU ARE WITHIN THE GAME, AND YOUR OPPONENT IS AS REAL AS I AM."

Wierd's eyelid fluttered and his eyes narrowed to tiny slits.

"Wanna see how impossible it is for me to exterminate you, jackass?"

With an angry snarl, he lobbed a blinding streak of extremely high current, high voltage charge through the air in a deafening concussion.  After the assault on the senses had cleared, and amid the acrid stench of vaporized metal, one of the spheres on the front of the dalek's casing had been blown off explosively, leaving a scorched, and pitted hole. The orb rolled around glowing white hot and clattered to a stop near a table leg.

"Even dalekanium has a thermal expansion limit, asshole."

Smoke cleared from the smoking, ruined sphere, revealing a dark-grey substance beneath. "BUT THE PRIMARY MATERIAL DOES NOT. ITS STATE IS FIXED IN TIME AND SPACE, UNCHANGEABLE. IT FORMS THE VERY FOUNDATIONS OF THIS WORLD. THE OTHER PARTS OF THE CASING COULD BE COMPROMISED WITH EXTREME EFFORT. YOU STILL COULD NOT DESTROY ME THEN; IT WOULD CONTRADICT YOUR OWN SURVIVAL."

Weird smiled serenely, and terrifyingly. It was a side to his nature he usually kept under strict lock and key. His truely evil, diabolical, and bad side.

"The casing might survive. But I doubt you would." He said in almost sing-song matter-of-factness.

"Weird...." hugo interjected almost sweetly in a high pitched and strained tone. "Calm down... you're scaring me..."

Weird smiled broadly, and laughed manically.

"Foundation of this world you say?" He cooed. "Ever been to the 'other side'?" A dangerous mirth glittered in his eyes as he blithely strolled across the room in a near dance. In one fluid flourish he swooped up the hot orb, and flash froze it with his left hand, scooped up a centuries old graphite pencil from the ops console table in his right, and returned to his previous point near the stairs.

"Pay attention, dreidle top. I'll give you a free lesson about mortality."

The twisted, horrible laughter didn't stop... The great sparrow watched with twisted interest, while the others gawked in horror.

Weird drew two small circles filled with intricate lines and symbols on the floor, held the dalekanium orb aloft with a shit eating grin, placed it in the first circle, licked his gloved finger, and lit the circle with as much force as he could jam into it.

A horrible dischordant peal, like the sound of a windchime being struck with a baseball bat clashed in the air, followed by a horrible explosion less than half a second later erupting from the second, revealing charred, molten, and splintered parts of the original orb. Most of it was missing.

"If you're interested in a little sightseeing trip of the afterlife, just let me know..."

[Fun fact! Wierd's "unstable transport" spell ricochets the physical object off death's door. That's how it works. The rules of physical matter don't apply on the other side.]

"Scare you? Oh, my... you seem to have the wrong opinion!"

The horrible sing-song mirth had not vanished, and for all the world, it seemed the necromancer found the very idea hilariously absurd.

"....I was merely setting the record straight, little hemohroid..."

He stretched out his left hand lazily and looked down at his outstretched fingers as though examining the nails through the soft cloth, then rubbed the knuckles quickly against his right shoulder, then making a flicking gesture.

"I was just exposing the untruth you made. I most certainly CAN exterminate you... weather that is a good idea or not?.... that's a whole other topic entirely. Trying to frighten an emotionless murderer? How illogical! Demonstrating objective fact? Practical."

He smiled pleasantly at the dalek in the stunned silence of the exchange.

"I take it you don't like that one?" Droned the ghost almost casually.

"No. No I don't." Said the beaming necromancer in a sweet and pleasant voice.

"YOUR ARGUMENT IS MEANINGLESS. YOU DEMONSTRATE NOTHING THAT IS NOT ALREADY KNOWN."

"What I want to know," said HugoLuman, "is why you helped the others, as you've said. It doesn't make sense."

"Because it wants to escape as well. It only helped them because it has to, and is being so delightfully coy with us, because it thinks it has to." Weird returned his pleasant, but horrifying gaze at the dalek and tilted his head. "Is that not so?"

"THERE CAN BE NO ESCAPE UNTIL THE GAME IS OVER. AND THERE IS ONLY ONE OUTCOME IN WHICH YOU ARE STILL ALIVE TO ATTEMPT ESCAPE. IN THE BEGINNING, YOU MIGHT HAVE ESCAPED. ONE OF YOU NEARLY DID." It looked at HugoLuman. "THAT ONLY LED TO THE NEAR-CREATION OF THE SINGULARITY, UNTIL HE WAS DEFEATED. IT WAS RECENTLY THAT THE OPPONENT REALIZED ITS MISTAKE, AND ISOLATED THIS WORLD. THE OPPONENT IS OMNIPOTENT IN THIS UNIVERSE, LIMITED ONLY BY RULES OF ENGAGEMENT. ONLY IF THE OPPONENT IS DESTROYED CAN YOU ESCAPE."

"How the hell can we do that if this person is all-powerful?"

"Isn't omnipotence kinda... impossible? As in, it's logically impossible to be capable of anything."
"Can this omnipotent being microwave a burrito so hot that it itself can not eat it?"
"Of course, could be that it's just close enough to omnipotence in every way that matters that it's easier to just consider it omnipotent."

-Oh, and wierd, just a reminder. Oliolli isn't a dwarf, but an oliolli. Armok's strike force and all that. Created specifically for fighting.-
