I got some seeds! It was some of the few things I managed to scrap together from the wreckage...

While they are surface crops, I snagged a single whip vine (mill it! MILL IT! Get the seeds!), I also grabbed a few fisher berries, some rope reed, and a bunch of straw and prickleberries.

A little brewing, and we could have booze and fabric before we know it.  Stone pots can hold booze without glaze, so we're all set.  We still need a craftsdwarf shop to make stone pots though.

Seriously?  17 pages since yesterday?  What the carp?  Now I have to spend the next hour reading through all those posts!

Do we have a hospital yet?  I requested one be built back before all these posts happened, and I'm afraid it was drowned in the massive deluge of words since then.

I built that before it was requested!  Check the map in the spoiler in my last post!

Done with the outer defenses.

Note: If anyone wants something added, just post the size of the room, and (if necessary) the corridor size to get to the room.

Question:  Who was it that learned to dragon-shout in the last thead from a slab Hugo gave him/her?

HugoLuman walks through the wall into the dining room. "Those elves are coming back! Who's gonna come with me to scope out their place so we can plan what to do? Let's not all go, we just need to see what they've got there. Weird, if you're coming, bring that suit. I fear there may be drug-vapors or something mind-affecting."

"Hold on, don't get too jumpy.  Maectur, pull up the outer drawbridge."
The outer drawbridge has been raised, all are inside!
"Just get to the battlements and start shooting crossbow bolts at them."

Leave him his little cabin.  Though maybe requiring a firing port on each outer wall is a must.

"Not it. I'm creeped out enough as it is, I don't need to get humped by a furry-tree humper combo." Splint said, dumping the contents of his seed bag ona table. A few fisher berry seeds, his plump helmet spawn missing, some odd purple plants hed's stolen from that elf, and a gold coin. "Would any of you happen to know if this purple thing is poisonous?"

Beginning construction of labs.  To prevent harm to fortress, there are both retracting bridges, for keeping people out, and raising bridges, for keeping experiments in.  To prevent dangerous experiments, the only way into labs will be through the person's room.  That is all.

"Right now, they seem to think we are some kind of gods. There are two possibilities; it is a trap, or we have followers, albeit creepy ones. I'll go, since they can't really hurt me in this state, and if anyone is willing to risk it, I could use some help. We should take notes while we're there, noting what resources there are and how the defenses are. If we do want to kill this Kodkod cultist, we may need to do it stealthily, as this 'master' seems to have ridiculous healing powers. A 'friendly' visit would be a good pretense."
