"I had to take care of a acquaintance, who didnt want to give up power very easily. But dont worry, he and his followers are gone." he said. "Want food? I dont care for cannibalism so I have been trying to find animals. But there is plenty of human and elf soup for you to eat."

"You not kill me yet, that something. How you get that thing, though?" Rubluflis pointed at the uzi again. "What it for?"

"Where did I get it?" He said. His eyes darted side to said.


"Its a gun, it shoots sharp metal and makes things die. Fast." he said, shooting it in the air. A bird dropped dead on Corai's head.


Corai motioned for Rublufis to follow him to the dining hall. "Come."

Rubluflis seized up, opening his mouth. Another sneeze. Wiping his nose, he followed Corai into the dining shack. Half a dead bird followed him following Corai.

"...Thats disturbing." Corai said, swatting it from the air and handing Rubfluis a bowl of soup. A odd kind of meat in it.


"Dont ask, I dont want to remember what it is. You'll like it though." Rublfluis looked at the kobolds waving at him, then getting back to eating.


"See. Everyone welcomes you here."

The kobold sniffled and nodded in thanks, sipping his soup. He had been living off worms and mice for a month now. "So, gun like crossbow and thunder in one? There be scratching of gun in tower, but you not know of tower, so is guns all over the place then? Never see one before, but then maybe they invisible and all humans have them."

"No, only I have it. No others exist." he said, handing him a rope reed.


"Here, wipe your nose. It'll help your cold." Corai said, drinking a cup of water. "You want a tour of the camp? The kobolds named it Frigyblesh. They said it means home."

[I don't think koboldmancer knows how to control his powers. I suspect his head wasn't sophisticated enough to properly accommodate the knowledge that tried to burn itself in... and what did he lose? Maybe his drive to steal stuff? That's super important to a kobold.]

"We say Blidlduk, Vovn, or Plaglei for home. But I know what it mean. All kobolds know how talk kobold." He wiped his nose with the impromptu handkerchief, then, having a better idea, blew loudly into it. "Help lots. If you have only one, though, how come there be one on wall? That one one on wall not look exact like gun you have. Maybe someone try scratch your gun into wall, they get it wrong? Not know, scratch seemed pretty good."

"I have no idea. I have never SEEN a copy though. I have tried to make replicas, but none ever worked. Or succeded to stay in one piece." he said.




"Well, if you go out to steal, dont steal from the nearby dwarven fort. They are friends."

[I am calling it quits tonight. My bullshit tolerance level has been exceeded, and my head is turning off, and tuning out. If my boss doesn't like it, he can blow me. I got moe done tonight than the NC programmers could have.]

Mrhappy turned his gaze up from the mug and looked around. Everything was fine. His robot, his smiths, his furnace. All fine.
"I sure hope no one steals these beautiful and dangerous mugs!" he said to no one in particular. Only silence qeplied.
"Dang it." he grumbled.

Hmm, don't want to go too far without Wierd. On the other hand, if Oliolli signs on, then I'd be happy to continue.
It was the morning now. HugoLuman and Wierd went back to their sleeping places, needing rest badly, but the others looked around the ruin a little more. It was beginning to go from very very late to very very early, so Eric and the rest were more than happy to leave, especially after they had found Roead. The mummy said he'd stay and watch the entrance hole they'd made, just in case, and Vemini agreed to help.

[You kidding? I went straight to the hospital to make sure I don't get any nasty infections from all these wounds, unless Wierd bothered to heal them which I highly doubt. CRUNDLES, man, crundles.]
After sending the bugs back to their pen, Eric slowly wandered into the hospital and flopped down on an empty bed, and immediately lapsed into unconsciousness without saying a word to Gizogin or any of the machinations scittering around.
