"The hell? Who's the shaman guy?" Splint said, and looked down at the bbloody and mangled kobold. "And where the hell did he put the rest of the 'bolds?" He yanked his pike from the elf on the ground, the shaft bent even more out of shape. "Should have just gave up and let that roof squash me..."

All the elf-corpses shuddered and began to move. As they stood up, their wound began to heal, green smoke pouring out. "Master fixes when we break. Master fixes when we break. From death's grasp master takes. Fixes when we break."

"Now, if everyone would just FOLLOW ME kindly. Your kobold friends are at the tower. I promise they will not be harmed nor have they been already."

Looking up from the REALLY INTERESTING text, Eric smashes another werewolf in the guts, the steel pickaxe lodging firmly in the bladder, and admires the newly-apparent freakshow-of-a-dude with an ugly staff.

Eric continues reading whilst listening to the nutjob

Nevermind the disturbingly knowing look that kobold has on her face. That dwarf SHOULD be embarrased!

"I dunno.... He seems a little... Dead. And dead things should really stay that way. No offense to the poor little sap." He looked around at the group. "Well? What now?"

"You will come, though. For I know you will have interest in this."
This figure holds out it's staff, and on the end is an image of Kodkod in elf bone.

The magic was...... different.  It wasn't necromancy.  Well, it was raising the dead, but it wasn't necromancy.  Luc had said that mummies held similar, more ancient powers, but they didn't share their secrets.

If he could raise dead safely, that meant he could to.

Pulling the phosgene chord, and gassing the pack of abominations with one hand, and gesturing with the other... he felt their addled brains bend to his will.
