"Hugoluman, what do you want?" the kobold said, rearranging chairs.

"Hey fatass, get up. We need that chair for the barricade." he said to a dwarf, who grudgingly got up. "Dwarven fatass."

"Kobold runt."

"Touche."

-Kobold camp? Corai would definitively screw the entire fort by leaving the barricade undefended if the camp gets attacked. And Corai doesnt play fair.-

-Barricade meaning the dining hall, keeping fluffballs in.-

-Wait, Tiber Septim? From the Elder Scrolls? Why dont we just call on the Nine and one to assist us? xD-
[OOC commentary about comparing HappyFace's construction to Numidium. We haven't had some kind of crossover with the Elder Scrolls yet.]
Corai was suddenly very tense. "Um... this isn't about the whole shooting you thing is it?"

"No. There will be time to talk about THAT later. I'm going to need your help for a sneaky mission. You're the only one small enough to carry around concealed."

I don't know about the all clear yet, so still planning to sneak in and rescue you. Failing that, finding out what the hell is going on.

From where?  The army that came?  The citadel?  Somewhere else?

The army is going to remain a distance off, protecting this place and the microline tower.  I plan to have assistance from all of you to create something like the 'Skyship Weatherlight.'  Planeswalking aircraft for the win.

"Okay. What is it?" Corai said, shoving the chair against the door.

"Dont breath fire, these chairs need to stay intact, we got a bigger problem behind these doors."

.."But if you can get Joykill in here, please do." he said, chuckling.

"Don't worry, haven't figured out how to breath fire yet. Last time I tried it left a nasty taste in my mouth. Anyway, you hide under my wings and I'll creep out of here to see how things are going. I'm thinking we might have to go to that citadel, and seeing how you've been there I could use your help."

"Under your wings...Isnt that- No, no nononono...not gonna say it..." the kobold said, shaking his head trying to forget the thought.

"Okay... yeah. Just dont fly either, heights arent my thing." Hugoluman took a moment to look up and down, taking notice of Corai's height, chuckling. "No it is not."

The smith began completing the final touches for the gauntlets. Spiked and clawed, in lobstered layers of steel and foot long talons of black iron. They were monstrous, nearly 9 feet long from the tip of the middle finger to the base of the wrist, looking all like a pair of  gigantic predatory insects. They were weapons enough, and such extravangces such as a seperate weapon would be vein.

"Wuh? But, what the hell? You were approaching with intent to attack our fortress and threatened to destroy it, and suddenly you're all best friends? This is ridiculous." Eric was confused, and enraged. He'd been lied to by all parties involved, and he HATED being lied to.
"Fuck this. I'm going to get more booze." He stormed off into the fortress, Roead, having even less clue what was going on, followed as well. Cog and his team were near the entrance, ready to pull the levers and seal the fort up, and the militia remained at their post after Eric told them the siege was apparently thwarted. It wasn't safe to tell anybody just yet; the other forumites would have to discuss what they were going to do about it, so he headed for the kitchens again.

"Don't worry Corai. Heights aren't my thing either. These wings will remain firmly folded to my sides. Anyway, let's go."

The dragon and kobold made their way to the outside, again through the hole that was once a shack, and crept back through the trees to look at the goings on. Zanzetkuken was talking to the commander, but there seemed to be little tension between them. HugoLuman sat still to listen.

"Looks like our arses will remain unfried for another day. Boy, I think I'm gonna join you. I may bloody well be a mummy, but damnit if I won't see if I can get even more pickled!"
