Hmm, I didn't know clusters still give 1:1, that's interesting.  But, veins average 100 urists in size where small clusters average 5, not to mention they're much easier to find.  So, I'd imagine they will still give much more coal/mithril.

Or to put it another way:  even money odds Ishar has his whole throne room made out of mithril by the end of his second turn ^^

Mithril ore => smelt to coarse mithril => irongrade, but lighter
Yu need a mithril forge to refine it. Should be elven tech, but I think it can be build just like that right now

You really think I won't have my mithril throne room by the end of the first year? That's cute.

By the way, how do I 'spawn' magma from that gem? Fortunately it's not like mining a tear of armok (I'd be dead if that was the case), but I would like to give it a shot, since the volcano is at the other edge of the map.
Also, are the armored animals still unable to give birth? If so, I'll definitely butcher the shit out of the horses. I was saving them for the Great Dwarven Horsebreeding Program.

Maybe it was intended for reclaims were not being murdered is harder that finding food.

Maybe you didnt check the report when you loaded it, about meat missing... because the old meat cant be found, and all new meat is MUSCLE:NONE:CREATURE_MAT:ANIMAL. ;) But yeah, usually there should be food. But even without food its okay, the 2 horses give 32 meat, usually enough till farms run/a caravan arrives.

Meat is not the problem, we won't be starving. But, and this is a big but, you can't make booze out of a horse, even though it's a great idea. Without any underground plants or their seeds, the fort is stuck with prickle berry wine and shit like that.

I guess bloodwine is not in the alpha?
I know it was in Masterwork at some point since Meph used the idea with my permission.
