Current turn list:

Panopticon
Zenerbufen
Ishar
smakemupagus
Meph (whenever he's ready)

That is the current turn list, I know Zen at least was eager to do his turn, for the others you will need to fight with them if you want to get in earlier.

If Zen isn't super fast with his turn (as in, done by tomorrow - seems impossible) you can have my turn.

Rules on skipped turns? Can I take my turn now, or will I have to go to the end of the line?
You can rise to the occasion and finish panopticons turn if you wish, otherwise zens going to sit locked in his room for a month and let everything burn down.

That is literally like 1-2 months of in game time, I don't think it is worth having anyone else do it.

Oh, hey. Can I be dwarfed? I have tried but do not have much experience with masterwork, but I can take a turn as a overseer if need be.

They decided to leave my fortress via the circus because the front door was locked to keep Goblins out.  THAT should be an interesting trip back to the Mountainhome.

Yes you can be dwarfed, but what do you want your dwarf to do? The fort is currently under attack, on fire, and the current overseer is locking in his throne room paying no attention. If anyone wants me to give there dwarf special orders let me know.

My very special order for mine would be to wake the fuck up. Could you make him somehow?

I'll try my best.

1 month down, 12 to go...

hostergaard thank you for your many years of dedicated beekeeping. Now welcome to the army. Since we have a shortage of war trained animals you will probably go into battle with the deer. I have no idea why the only thing anybody decided to train was deer, but it's what we got so it's what you'll be riding into battle.

Also; I trained the golems. I hope that's not a bad thing. and a note, direwolves are not trainable. If I can take a deer into battle I should be able to take a dire wolf!!

one question: If we hurt Ishar, will he then be brought to the hospital, treated and then wake up?

I know this borders on cheating, but personally, I modded them to be trainable in my own games. Sort of not fair, but come on! If you can train a sauropod for war, you should definitely be able to do it with a direwolf.
I think hospitalizing my dwarf might work, but it's a pretty fucking dangerous idea. Remember, he was close to Darkhawk initially, and now he's a demonbound, and Darkhawk didn't transform into stonebound as far as I know. Whoever volunteers to attack Ishar, he will be more than a bit grumpy when he wakes up. Expect casualties. Maybe you could let a prisoner loose near him, if we have any?

Trainable direwolves are noted.
Armorable spiders, direwolves, dragonraptors and so on are planned as well. I just have to find out what kind of warbeasts the people mostly use. :)

Adding this: [SELECT_CASTE:NECROFIGHTER_MALE][NO_SLEEP] in the save-raws in creature_standard.txt did not help ? I am confused that he falls asleep anyway, because it is a known bug with NO_STUN, yes. But there is no NO_STUN tag in there, so I dont know why he falls asleep in the first place.

I have not looked at the raws but could it be using a template with [NO_STUN] in it?
Is there a typo in a physical attribute that causes him to not have enough energy to stay awake?

I seem to remember that you have to force the dwarf to wake up after you apply [NO_SLEEP] since that tag also seems to prevent them from waking up naturally.
I believe the safest method it to deconstruct the bed they are sleeping it but you can also wake them up by hurting them.
I think moving them with fluids works too.

I might look at the raws later if I have time though I don't do much creature modding.

He wakes up if you deconstruct the bed, then he goes to a new bed and goes back to sleep, alternatively if he is hungry or thirsty he deals with that and goes back to sleep. The issue is the Drowsy condition doesn't go away no matter how long he sleeps, so no matter what, if he has that condition, he will head directly to a bed.

Why that should be I don't know, I suspect the no_sleep tag does nothing to remove any drowsy condition already acquired by the subject, so that is why it isn't working, but I don't have any clue why he went to sleep in the first place, as Meph has said that no_stun is not present on the template.

Could you post his details I would like to see what it says about his attributes.
I think if his endurance and willpower are low enough he will basically be narcoleptic since he does not have enough energy to stay awake or the will to ignore being tired.
If that is the problem he would wake up to eat and drink since sleeping is only the third most important thing to a Dwarf.
Alcohol is number 1, Eating is number 2, and collecting random crap (socks) is number 4.

I tried that myself with the latest save file, and IT WORKS. While I was at it, I fixed the shadowmancer as well. I did not remember what the third problematic caste was, so only those two are good to go.

Just copy this into data/save/savefolder/raw/objects and it should be fine. Ishar won't wake up on his own, but if you deconstruct his bed, we will not fall asleep. Actually, ever again.

IMPORTANT: I'm no modder, so I may have messed things up, so DO A BACKUP before applying this.

---

On another note, I couldn't resist the challenge, and let Ishar loose in the caverns, to do some science, in the form of a friendly little sparring session. Here are the results:

Zombies: 0
Ishar: 23
No contest there. Mostly satyrs though, so not surprising that he won, I'm sure he could have taken them even without the transformation.

Antmen feat. diamond golem*: 1
Ishar: 42
So yeah, they took him down, a lucky shot to the groins made him bleed out, but not before taking on the antmen siege, and killing a whopping 42 of them. Really, that crotch-shot was the only attack that even made contact, so this was an extremely lucky outcome in my books.

End result:
He may be more powerful than Darkhawk currently. Things going for him:
- Demonbound transformation
- Artifact iridium mail shirt
- Artifact chitinplate leggings
- Attached to a welded mithril zweihander - if made runic, this will be slightly better than Darkhawk's blade)

Things going for Darkhawk:
- Legendary Fighter, as opposed to Ishar's Great Fighter
- Runic mithril zweihander
- Artifact iridium razorplate armor - I guess that's better than Ishar's mail shirt, but not sure against various attack types

* How the hell did they have that?
