Arright, restarting then, tomorrow I have to play D and D all day, but I should get Summer done finally either in the late evening or on Saturday. Possibly in the wee hours tonight if it is too hot for me to sleep.

My group runs 3.5, I like 4th but the system is basically entirely different, with few rules emphasizing non combat stuff. So for actual Role-Playing we do 3.5, though one of our members has been pushing us to try Pathfinder, it is likely to be moot for me as I am starting a business and soon will be far to busy selling the RPGs to people rather than playing them myself.

Found an issue with the Fountain of Eternal Youth, not game breaking or anything but it bears mentioning.

If you get a Dwarf to Swim in the Fountain and set the job to repeat, he will keep swimming and generating the vapor that heals, the problem with this is that the transformation takes their clothes off, which generates jobs for the rest of the fort to come and pick those clothes up, which exposes them to the vapor, which makes them drop their clothes, eventually if you forget to pay attention, you have a pile of nude dwarfs surrounded by blue mist standing on the Fountain and nothing gets done.

Easily solved by not putting it on Repeat of course, but worth noting. Ima try to abuse this by assigning Zen to a burrow there, we'll call it being forced into the Fountain or something, hopefully it works.

MUAHAHAHAHAHAH I AM A GENIUS.

It makes sense that you would have to swim nude in the fountain of youth for the healing properties to work. I could imagine a bunch of dwarfs sitting in the pool tee-heeing like the hula girls in the secret level in toejam and earl. Is there a way to fix other dwarfs wanting to clean up the cloths with general/standing orders? or disabling cleaning for most dwarfs?

Update later tonight, but I figured you might like to know that Zen has hands now.

Am I an idiot for not seeing that quoted message anywhere?

He only quoted a part of the sentence, the most important one, to be honest ;)

You should get back to leading a fort and murdering invaders, you are better off with those tasks :D

Zen is going to be so happy to be able to fight for his fort again, I can't wait for my turn.

Summer is in!

Ishar sleeps, I did ad in NO_SLEEP (with the brackets and everything) but it appears to do nothing. I can make him eat and drink by deconstructing his bed when he gets hungry or thirsty so I should be able to keep him alive for a while anyway, and I am going to see if there is any music that can wake him up for a time at least.

Either I fail at editing the RAWs or the edit doesn't actually work, my guess is option A.

Zen, you want me to draft you back into a squad? Or shall I let you choose your own fate on your turn? We also have Essences so I can Legendary you up.

The rest of the year should be quick, I don't have a ton to do this weekend.

Please try to keep him alive as long as you can. Meanwhile, anybody has any idea for fixing the demonbound sleeping problem? (Please post fixed raws if you can)

Is it possible you edit the main raws rather than the raws specific to the save game?  I make that mistake a lot.

P.s.  Don't forget to re-dorf Higgenbottom when you get a chance please, beserkninja asked in the other thread

With no_sleep it is impossible for him to fall asleep, so there must be a mistake. Did you edit the raws in data/save/savename ?

That may be the issue there, I'll try it later.

Edit: And it is not working, perhaps because he is already asleep and has the "Drowsy" condition?
