Yes, please. I'll defeat the zombies/kill everyone tomorrow. Doesn't matter, as long as we have no migrants, so really it's just for flavor.

Righto, I think perhaps I'll look for a place that doesn't have a tower next door this time.

That will be somewhat dependent on the location of the demon fort, but I can try. Folks do you want me to look in the world at year 100 (When we started this fort) or from a save after we started?

Preferably with the latest save you can, so this fort exists in the world history.

Ok, I'll go with the save I uploaded last, that way we might see some of our own immigrate.

Taking forever to find another fort, found a site with a resident Titan though, which is sorta cool, a towering humanoid with wings and a look of unbelievable peace, he is surrounded by the corpses of what I assume are human adventurers.

Success! Demon fort and a river, this embark also has lignite and coal as well.

So who gets first year on this one? Should we just do whoever is next on the list? Let Ishar do it? Or start anew?

If you want me to start, I'll gladly do it.
Also, this time, I'd really like to start with the fighters. Miners and mechanics are incredibly easy to train, but military skills take forever to develop.

Coal is nice. I assume we have iron ore and flux as well?

You know it. The parameters of the worldgen make it really hard to find sites without iron and flux somewhere. In this case plenty of iron and I think we have a marble layer.

I have no particular opinion on what our starters should be like for this one, I also figure since you are basically playing your turn in the original fort for laughs that it would probably be fair if you started us off.

That's it, my job is done. Zombies are dealt with, but most of our already pathetic population died in the process. I think the rest would've gone down in a tantrum spiral anyway, so I abandoned.

How should we embark? Could you upload a starting save or something? My vote is still on embarking with a warrior group, give them two picks, a battleaxe and an anvil, and let me have a male sworddwarf. I don't care about the rest of the starting equipment or skills, but those would be nice.

I would say Ishar goes first and then we follow the list.

and he did clear it all up.

Nah, it was just a throng of cage traps. Anybody with a week of DF experience could have done that. It didn't even involve magma.
