Agility > everything else combined.
Arm and train them, and try to keep those two alive at all costs. We are looking at another murder duo in the works...

If you have time/resources/need, send my dwarf to mine some shit. Mining is supposed to train strength. (This could be dated info on my part, but it used to train str... at some point. I hope it still does.)

Pump operating definitly does, just let future military dwarfs pump half the time (whatever you wanna have pumped.... or just pumping nothing ;) ) and then have them sparring the other half of the time

Also, I want a big sword for my dwarf. Runic, if possible. Shouldnt be hard to find, i got one 20 minutes into my game via archaeology :D Along with vulcanic ballista bolts, still no clue what i wanna use them for

You are welcome to set up whatever fancy training you want on your turn, under my command they will level their stats the old fashioned way: By chasing down Tapirs on foot and bisecting them.

Additional: I got another Legionnaire in the Summer migrant wave, these dudes don't seem that rare so far. Everyone who has asked is dwarfed I think, Meph do you want a character? Zen did you ask for one and I missed it?

A possible bug, one of the dwarfs who tapped the volcano died horribly, another did not, despite being totally on fire, he is happily smoothing out a tomb as I write this and has no wounds at all.

By the way, those have their seperate lair, with next boxes and everything. Forgot to mention that.

Zen we have a Legionnaire and a Fighter if you want military types, otherwise we have a pop of around 50 so something is available.

Edit: Summer is done! I do like this fort.

Erm... the melting mechanisms may be a problem. You see, volcanoes tend to fill up to their default setting, keeping the lavapit under a lot of pressure (it's kinda deep down, exactly for the pressure - it fills up quicker this way). So, if the floodgates don't keep the magmaflow in check, the pressureized magma might shoot out from the floor the moment you channel for the workshops. While spectacular, this might be a bit lethal. Be careful.

Ishar, you forget that magma doesn't pressurize like water does, we are fine.

So a moody dwarf made am earring out of a granite jug, pretty sure that doesn't happen normally.

Nothing too zany to report that season, except of course for the fact that we have a lava flow coming down the mountain now.

The completed artifact is simply made of granite, with no sign of jugs in its description. I can of course post a screenshot if you still want but it looks pretty normal.

No, thats ok then. I thought it would say "it is made out of granite jug" or something. Sure he took the jugs, and they were not marked as "used" because another dwarf was running to the workshop with a bin to stockpile them ?
