So, is it my turn? If so, where is the link? Firehawk did not seem to post it, or I missed it.

Opened up the save and saw the fort for the first time.

First impressions:

1. What the fuuuuuuuuu?
2. FPS is stable at 25. Eh...not great, but can live with it.
3. Should it be possible to have both a zweihandler and a shield?
4. A legendary crutch walker! Poor guy, I don't want to know what he has been trough.
5. I'll need at least a few hours to understand how this fort works.
6. 110 notable kills and 16 other kills? What the fuuu? Can dwarves of the legion be safely transformed into stonebound? Do the retain their improved learning?

1: Yeah, it's a mess, a glorious mess, I like to look at the dead/missing screen once in a while for laughs.
2: That is pretty decent, if we can deal with the undead on level 3 it might improve more.
3: Dwarfs equipping stuff never seems to make sense to me, they do what they want and we cannot stop them.
4: There are some appalling injuries in the fort, respect the crutch walker for getting off lightly and overcoming his disability.
5: You and everyone else, my last turn I just opened the fort and spent a couple hours paging through the z-levels trying to make sense of it a.
6: Yes you can transform him, apparently migrants who come with castes, like Legion, are transformable.

- Added no_sleep to demonbound, shadowmancer and earhbound. Got reports that those fall asleep endlessly, should be fixed.

This is my changelog. So,please, avoid these three mages. Sorry for that, but I really dont want to see darkhawk-turned-stonebound to die a useless death.

I also got reports from reddit that one guy made a bunch of lifemancers and resurrected his dead citizens, so that works, and can possible raise the population again :) Dont know how it is with skeletal corpses/heavily rotten ones that have been buried already...

I also hate the game just now for disrespecting underground depths for layer linked entities... I just checked, the antmen have    [BIOME:SUBTERRANEAN_CHASM] [UNDERGROUND_DEPTH:1:1] and shouldnt even appear in cavern lvl 2 or 3. That is very unfortunate, since I wanted to make 3 races, early, medium, late, that get more difficult, with each one in one cavern section. Seems that wont work.

I had a Lifemancer come as a migrant, there is no better mage in my opinion, they cast what is essentially a haste spell pretty much constantly, making all your dwarfs in its vicinity do things faster, and raising the dead works too, the resurrected dwarf picks up where he left off with no problems. I never managed to try it on dismembered/memorialized or rotten dead though. Working on one in my current fort so hopefully I can find out.

If I delete the no_sleep from those in the raws, it should be fixed, right?

We gotta heal you first I think, the transformations require the subject to haul the required items to the Church, and you have no hands.

I don't think any of the healing methods work without hands.

You won't even get the "Canceled: too injured," message; he doesn't seem to take the Temple reaction jobs due to his Noble work exemption.  (If he did, he'd be dead by now one way or the other)

Stupid Noble work exemption, swimming at the fountain might still work, but yeah it would be a long shot.
