Please do join up, at the rate other overseers are disappearing or ending turns early, I was afraid it would just be Ishar and I trading years.
Seeing that we haven't heard anything from the next one on the list (oliverosky95) for five days now, you (Panopticon) could take your turn now.

I am considering it, but I'll let Zenerbufen make the call, it's sorta his show here.

Seems fair, lets get this show on the road. We can move the other guy to the bottom of the list.

Downloaded the save, spent the evening looking over the fort, will play starting tomorrow, people will be dwarfed at that time as well.

Dragons! Neat.
I'm a fan of alternate routes - one way into the fort could be via the trade depot (original entrance), another through a large room for soldiers, another for trap/turret/landmine corridor, and another leads through dragon(s).
You could close each one individually, forcing invaders to use the one you want. If you do all of this underground (we have a few free Z-levels for thing like this), that even protects from those pesky flyers I hate so much.

Exactly how many warbeasts do we have? Judging from the sorry state of our soldiers, I wager the beasts are far-far better at defense than the dwarves themselves. During my term, we had a throng of dogs, my dragon raptor, and your sauropod. If you... erm... 'aquired' sauropods, as in plural, is it possible to breed them? That could fuel one hell of a meat industry, in addition to warbeast training.

We have two dragons, two sauropods, and two dragon raptors, as well as a ton of dogs, mastiffs, and puppies, soon I will put all those puppies in a cage somewhere so they don't get themselves killed before they reach the proper age.

As for the big animals, there is a male and female of each, so we could theoretically breed them. I actually noticed a barrel of dragon raptor eggs in the stockpile, so perhaps they are trying already.

Oh I also got an anaconda, because why not.

Maybe you could forbid the cooking of dragon eggs or something... I admit it's very lavish and all, but perhaps that's not the best way to use them.

Hey, whatever floats your boat. It was 'free' anyway.

Still no coal by the way? Charcoal is... such a crude thing to use all the time.

There is anthracite or something on the map somewhere, I remember that from when I was scouting for demon forts, however I feel it would be a bit cheaty to reveal and go mining straight for it.

I am gonna get some more exploratory digging going though, perhaps it will turn up.

Yeah, they were also in smallish clusters if I remember correctly. Probably better off digging straight for magma, or just clearcutting, which is what I will do shortly. Just after ambushes finish is the best time for that.

How tall is the tower? Breeding rooms will be needed eventually, also dropping turrets down on invaders was in the original plans. For now we could just pull a lever and dump a pile of dog & dinos on invaders. The dragons are too valuable and should be kept in the bloody dungeons for research.

the tower is not really there yet, we don't have the population for big projects to go fast, I expect to get a start on the first level of it during my turn though.
