Having never seen any of these shows before, I was pretty impressed. Bleach sucked, but that was expected. I really like Deadman Wonderland. When Casshern Sins started up, I didn't think I'd like it, but that was reversed by the time of the end of the episode. I've read Fullmetal Alchemist, and felt that the adaptation isn't as good as it could be, but if it weren't for that I'd think the anime is excellent. Ghost in the Shell is good; I've seen the film, and the show did not disappoint. And Cowboy Bebop was not at all what I expected, from what I had heard about it, but I enjoyed it; I'll try to catch up to the current episode, if I can find it somewhere accessible.
I give it 7.5/10. 8.5 without Bleach; which, thankfully, is at one end of the lineup.
On the subject of advertisements, I don't see what the appeal here is. The question of whether to watch these shows isn't whether it's an enjoyable use of my time, but rather if it's worth enduring the commercials.
I have no bloody idea what's going on.
It's taking intentionally vague to the brink of going too far. I admit, I'm intrigued.
Ahahaha what the hell panty shot. I was totally expecting it but it was still a bit of a sideswipe.
I don't recall this. When did it happen?
I'm liking Deadman Wonderland. It's also a pretty good indicator of how uncensored Toonami is going to be now.
Hah, yeah. I was surprised by the brutality of it. The verbal censoring disrupts the flow a bit - and sometimes obscures the meaning of the sentence - but the general lack of censorship is pleasing me. Probably my favorite show from the lineup, for many reasons.
Huh. Anyone know how th'deadman wonderland anime stacks up to the manga version?
How does it stack up, if the first episode's enough to go on? Is the anime as good as the manga?
