Mummy curses

what do they exactly do? i got a curse saying
"you feel horrible"
any explanation?

I was just about to make this post. Nothing happened to me and I felt fine as I swung my iron short sword into his face.

Yes and since these curses are permenant, consider sending companions ahead of you to absorb it. Raised dead will not work as they are not hostile to Mummies.

if you can raise the dead you are already friends with the mummy. go have a nice chat with him learn his story's
