Thanks. I was wanting to know if breaks were a normal thing. Just, when I wanted workshops built, Builder would stand around doing nothing. But when i switched her to be able to haul, she happily hauled tons of things and ignored building.
Whal labors does this builder have enabled?
If you want a carpenter's shop built, only dwarves with carpentry active will build it.
Some with mason's shop and masons, farmer's shops and plant processors, and most other workshops.

Okay, she wasn't building the farming place cuz she don't have farming active. But she did have masonry active, and wanted to do anything other than make the masonry workshop.

If you q over the building that isn't being constructed it will usually give you a clue like "needs architecture"

Thanks to everyone. I'd be scared to play this game in the beginning, before there was a wiki and helpful people all over the internet.
