I'd be shocked if dwarves didn't eat the demons they killed. After all, if they're willing to eat a poison spewing monstrosity, why not a flying dinosaur thing that hates all life?

That's probably it then; the quality levels of the available food aren't enough to generate a happy thought nor disgusting enough to make an unhappy one so it isn't listed either way.

Food never causes unhappy thoughts
Are you sure? I remember reading a though of "Ate a truly decadent meal recently".

I think thats a positive though. Decadent meaning something like extremely luxurious.

Food never causes unhappy thoughts

Well, eating vermin (due to a lack of food) causes bad thoughts, though I guess that's stretching the definition of "food" a bit.

For drinks you can get the "drinking the same old booze lately" bad thought if you don't have enough variety in your alcoholic beverages.  Drinking water (due to a lack of booze) or vomit (due to tainted water) also causes bad thoughts.

That makes sense, I had stacks of prepared foods worth literally one bazillion bucks each. The wording is a bit confusing though.

after an year, i discovered why my leader is always quite content, he doesn't have any thoughts about drinking or eating

how's that possible?

Vampire/Necromancer.

Or he was born without a stomach.

he's sleeping, so no necromancer or vampire, period

some people seem to like eating in their room. Is he comfortable in social situations? as for the no food/drink, as said, he didn't consume anything recently that gave him a happy thought
