Wait, why are weasels so small? They are size 200! That's smaller than a kitten (size 500)! Smaller than a rat (size 300)! I think Toady forgot a zero in here, that's the bug.
No, Weasels are really small. Rat-length, but mouse-skinny. Much smaller than ferrets, which is the weasely creature you're more likely to have seen.

Weasels can apparently range from five inches to three feet long.

I did bronze colossus testing in the arena: mooks were sent flying from punches and kicks but strangely, not from iron warhammer blows. Maybe that's not so strange as the hammer must be tiny compared to the colossus fist/foot.

Grandmaster BC with a platinum mace was able to knock a dwarf 1 tile backwards with the new mechanics.

The new mechanics involve parabolic paths, so things fly and bounce farther if you hit them off a cliff or tall building.

The only negative thing I see about this is I will have to haul three or four times as much corpse for each hunting job.

Itd be nice if they propelled the animal into the fort, right on top of the butcher´s shop.

I shall find a way.

What is a good weapon to use in a weapon trap to make enemies go flying?  Are any of them better than the others?  Well, obviously serrated disc is no good, that just slices into bits...

Not necessarily. IRL a blade would cut much more than push, but in DF energy transfer can't yet be modeled correctly. AFAIK what you would want to look at the force of the weapon, not the attack type. That said, you might not want to chop him in half before propelling him so you might still prefer blunts.

Depends entirely on your dialect.  In the (original) British usage, "weasel" only refers to one species, the Least Weasel, which is tiny (50-250 g), but in American and technical zoological usage, "weasel" refers to any member of the genus Mustela, which includes much larger creatures like stoats, mink, polecats, ferrets, etc.

Weapon traps don't cause propulsion, as far as I have tested. We now have minecarts to do that instead.

Mod in enormous colossus sized weapons, preferably the same size as a colossus fist and made of bronze?
This works. Very slowly.
