Fisherman Too Strong?
« on: May 14, 2012, 11:00:51 am »

I know items can now hit people... my fisherman just got hit with a spinning raw fish? What did he do, whip it out of the water with a rod straight into his face or something?!

I think it's the way towns develop now. In the beginning, people move into a town. Then they start producing tables, which results in more and more tables. Soon tables represent a significant portion of the population, they start lobbying for new laws and regulations, putting people to greater and greater disadvantage...

Unless someone installed it in a trap somehow,
a spinning raw fish means someone threw it at him.
Likely the result of a tantrum or something.

In case it wasn't obvious, I do know that dividing by zero is a mathematical impossibility. I do not know, however, how this dwarven calculator would react if anyone attempted the impossible. Please, someone try! xD
If you look back in the thread, some people did try, and they got 8008135, which is significant only in that the digits resemble the letter in "BOOBIES".
And so dwarf fortress solves yet another of lifes great mysteries.

It's a result of a bug brought upon by awesome shotfun physics. The fisherman just dropped a fish on himself, with a rather large amount of force.

Have them killed. Nothing solves a problem quite as effectively as simply having it killed.

This is a side-effect of dwarven animal training (hit animal with hammer until it forgets that it hates you, then lovingly cuddle it).

I'm not your average Bay12er. I care about my drunken midgets.
