Author Topic: How to make goblins nice to Adventurers of their same entity?  (Read 827 times)

I've been trying to make Goblins more adventurer-compatible, for many reasons (run amok as a goblin, retire, and get murdered by your next human adventurer!). Unfortunately, these little guys are total pissants.

The starting town is friendly, as usual. Traveling to a different goblin town a stone's throw away ends up with my unassuming gobventurer being filleted by angry townspeople of my same species and entity. I've even modded the raws to get rid of Goblin's 'likes_fighting' and 'evil' tags, and made it so that goblins' ethics regarding same-entity killings matches with dorfs (justified if good reason)

And yet my guy keeps getting murdered in every Goblin Hamlet. Can you guys give me a helping hand?

Remove [LOCAL_BANDITRY] from the entity.

I copied the human ethics, replaced the creature/translations with Goblin stuffs, added babysnatcher and the likes, and made the ethics crueler. In my haste, I didn't add the local_banditry token.

This forum, and all you forumites, are rad people! Thanks for the help!
