Vision -- A Suggestion Adventure
« on: May 12, 2012, 09:55:39 pm »

The Rules: Simple enough; it's a suggestion adventure, currently one guy being controlled, formatted in a manner similar to Homestuck and Adventure Guy.

So, with the quick rules done...

Ugh...

Mrmrmm.. *grumble grumble*

Urghmmrmmrmmm...

Someone turn the lights down...

What a headache. Why is it so bright in here? Your foggy mind comes to the conclusion that some god must hate you; it's the only rational explanation. After all, no sane being would consider having a room be lit with the equivalent of a sunny day. What an absurd idea!

Anyway, this is a pretty bad headache. You can't remember feeling this hungover in... Wait. You can't really remember anything.

WHAT A TWIST!

What do you do?

Put on some cool shades to alleviate the light! (It beats waiting for a vampire hunter so you can throw your wine glass at him!)

Pretend you are the Lincoln Memorial and the tablet thing is the Washington Monument.

Perhaps you should wait until a few more updates to ask this question, as it will in all likelihood be answered with evidence. Also, note the -esque. It's not Homestuck based.

> Put on some cool shades to alleviate the brightness.

You retrieve the snazzy pair of sunglasses you keep on your person at all times from your pocket and don them.

> Do a fancy Russian jig.
You don't know how to dance like that! Even so, you put on some moves...
WHAT A BOSS.

They appear to be nonsense, but why would anybody write this on a giant slab of rock if it was bullshit? It's probably some cypher of the language you're most familiar with. Your genre-sense tells you so. You'd guess that the upside-down 'Y' thingy is probably 'E', given how it's the only one to appear twice and it ends a two-letter word. Most common letter and all that rot. Also, the writing seems to be vertical instead of horizontal, which would make it '_e__ _e'.

> Review stats.
Stats? You're a human! You don't have stats laid out like in some kind of game! This is SERIOUS BUSINESS.

Also, what's your name? It seems to have vanished with your memories.

Sorry I didn't get to the Lincoln memorial thing. It took two days of drawing to make the dancing animation, and I want to keep the updates moving relatively quickly.

On an unrelated note, I'm curious what you're going to guess about the words.

I'm guessing it says "Help Me". Clearly this is a message from... someone... important... to the plot?

Clearly we must accept this quest. Although we might want to wait to pursue this venue until after we have dealt with this raging hangover.

EDIT: And your name is Alexander MacCheese. No wonder you forgot it, you must have been trying very hard.

Your name is Daniel. You probably took a swig of an Amnesia Potion, which made you forget. Who knows?

Out of boredom, you decide to take the next object you see as your surname.

Well, with our luck, then, new guy, He's either Daniel Pedestal or Daniel Shades. You know what? the latter sounds damn cool. Let's go with Daniel Shades.

> Name yourself.

Your name will be, uh... Alexander Mc... Coolcheese? No, wait; that's stupid. And not nearly swick enough, to boot. You facepalm.

Uh... Dan... Swick? No, that won't work. You make a mental note to keep the last name 'Swick' reserved in case you change your mind.

Aha! You've got it! You shall be known as... Daniel Shades!

Oh, and you think the tablet might be saying something about somebody needing help.
