However, all we would have to do to prevent you from having a monopoly on the new land is make a more favorable offer to the monarchy. Also, you won't be able to convince the ruler that you should have a monopoly since I'll be using my silver tongue to argue why it'd suck for the government if you controlled those lands economically. Add in Mann Co. and Loot & Pillage Co. stirring up a ruckus and the pressure of the other companies and we could sink you like a rock falling through water that takes all of the rock's money as it's falling.
