Isaac
Initiative Order (Stance, Weapons, Armor, Wound State in italics)
Isaac Defense Stance, Rapier, None (20+3+10), Healthy (0) Guarded
Drunken Bushi Attack Stance, Longsword, Ashigaru (18), (0)
Pierce Defense Stance, Longsword, Light (20+3-5), Nicked (7) Guarding

You grin, taunting the drunk as you sidestep his first slash, allowing yourself to react slower than your opponent so as to get a better shot at disarming him in the process.
Enraged, and entering the full attack stance, he turns to swing at you again (0(18)61373=31) and you have no hope of dodging the weapon. Luckily, Pierce bulls in, his buckler cracking loudly as he knocks the attack aside.

As Pierce moves to guard you again, you shift your stance and attempt to trip the drunken samurai! (2 raises)
(0(15)3663=21|0(0(0(31)))326=37|37-3=34 wounds) But as you attempt to distract him with a quick flick of your rapier so that you can trip him, the drunken samurai staggers into you and falls of his own accord. With a sickening shliiick the rapier pops out his back, and the man expires with a single ragged breath, slumped against you with your weapon hilt-deep.

At the very least, Isaac gains 2 exp. 1 for the battle, 1 for the absurd luck.

Katsu
Well after Asane and Akio's group have left, and presumably well after Isaac's situation is dealt with...

You return to the Sun Blossom Inn after a night of conversing with the Morikano Bushi Hayato. A bottle of sake will be 1 Bu, a bottle of Shochu will be 2 Bu. A meal, not including the drinks, will be about 1 Bu and 5 Zeni. You are expected to bring your own sake cup.
A room for the night will be 1 bu.

Kenage
(6762243=19+5=24 vs 8259757=24) Magistrate Hajime considers this for a moment, before replying. "A reasonable offer, Kenage-san. But I do not know if we can trust this Ronin. What proof have you that she is not working with the Akahoshi? Or that she alone will be enough to keep him in line?"

Hori
You mostly speak the truth, and the parts you omit are outlandish enough that you'd probably need to try to convince these men of their truth anyways. They take your story at face value.
The man on the ground you are speaking to looks up to the sentry in the tree questioningly, and at a nod speaks to you again, "Shiranuka and the Steamships are quite a way still. Why don't you accompany us to our camp? We will provide you with a meal."

Oshaberi
There is nothing remaining in the warehouse, so you return to your room at the Sun Blossom Inn in order to deliberate your next course of action.

((OOC: He has, sorry for not mentioning it. Only the dripping poison can be ingested, unless the guy has ulcers I guess, and then it's not the sort you'd be able to sneak into a meal. You'd need to get him to ingest it some other way, it's too bitter. The snake venom probably lasts around 24 hours or until proper medical attention is received or death. You wouldn't know the answer to the last question.))

Several minutes after being tossed back into his cell Ted called out for anyone who could hear him. Normally he would stand up to see if a guard was right next to his cell, but the long day of torture had made him tired and because of that he simply decided to lay down on the floor. "Hello, if a guard or trained doctor is there then a little help would be nice. I am of no use to the magistrate if I am horribly wounded!" He said, hoping to get the attention of a benevolent guard and hopefully get bandaged up again.

Request more medical assistance.

"I believe she is trustworthy, Magistrate-sama, because I am trained to judge character, and she did not strike me as one of malicious intent. As for whether she will be enough, I do not know for sure, but, unless you know of anyone else who could help, she's all I've got here."

Katsu was eager to eat something after a rather eventful day. His thirst was catching up with him too, and he was looking forward to a cup of sake. Or several. He was yet to determine his drinking mood. He took out his cup and asked for a bottle of sake. He also ordered rice, fish and some vegetables. If his thrist could be reasonably satisifed, Katsu contemplated a hot bath, if he could find a place.

Pay for food and drink. After meal ask if there is a bath house anywhere.

Kenage
(545520(17)0(12)=34 vs 660(14)4695=29) "Very well, Kenage-san. I shall trust your judgement in this." Magistrate Hajime replies, "I can spare little for your journey, but I will have one of my men provide you with five Koku or so with which to buy supplies. If you would return around noon tomorrow, I will release the prisoner into your custody then."

Katsu
(289=19) You purchase a bottle of sake and a small meal for 2.5 Bu, leaving you with 4 Koku, 2 Bu, and 5 Zeni. Luckily, tonight you are able to keep your head. (47/100|678=21) And once your meal is done and the bottle emptied, yourself only a little tipsy, you inquire as to the location of a bath house. Apparently public baths in Sumeru are located at the Juujiro Temple, just a ten minute or so walk from the marketplace.

Ted
(741=12) You wait for quite a while, but your shouts for medical assistance apparently fall on deaf ears. They've left you to rot in your cell.

Yoru
There are several roads that could be taken from the prison to the execution platform. They're all pretty straight-forward, with only a few minor twists and turns. The straightest path passes through the market place, only turning once in order to reach its destination.

Hori
(515=10 vs 23=5+3.5=8.5)
The men look to each other for a moment, before answering you. "That is fine, Ronin-san, but we must insist that you accompany us back into our camp before we can discuss things further."
The way he and his allies brandish their weapons, you can't help but feel a sliver of fear run down your spine. It would probably be best to follow them, at least until the shake leaves your hands.

Hori is shaken, suffering a penalty of -1k0 to all rolls for the time being.

Almost immediately after he stopped waiting Ted decided to try to sleep it off. He doubted he would get medical assistance any time soon and the mind numbing boredom wouldn't be mind numbing if he wasn't awake. Any chance at persuading the guards to let him go or to believe his clan wasn't part of his rebellion was now gone, he had to hope that the men torturing him would believe what he said.  That was the only thing he could do now, hoping for all those things and for the courtier to get him released.

Sleep to heal wounds.

"Thank you Magistrate-sama, you are most gracious."

When supper is concluded, Kenage will say his goodbyes and head to the inn to rent a room for the night. Once he get's there, he will write a letter to his sensei and a letter to the courtier in Ryoshun court he was going to be assisting explaining the situation.

Oshaberi goes to the magistrate's house once more and tries to get an appointment to speak with the magistrate the next day, so that he can discuss further 'donations' to the village.

Katsu was happy with his meal and his thirst was satisfied for now. He managed to keep his desire for more drink subdued. With bliss washing over him in an awesome wave, he decided to cement that feeling with the bath at the temple.

Head to the temple for a bath.

Katsu
The baths at the local temple are outside the temple-proper, and presently lit by a series of strung-up paper lanterns. They're free to use, and tonight, oddly, you're the only person here. At least, you're the only person on the male side of the baths. You can't see over the high wooden wall to the other side.

If you are looking to retire for the night after bathing: If your travelling pack includes a small tent ((OOC: Which it can)), you can set up camp outside the village proper with other travelers. Or there is always the Sun Blossom Inn or The Luck Dragon Hotel.
You recall that you have plans to meet with Magistrate Hajime tomorrow at noon, regarding the imminent attack on part of the Genki clan.

Kenage
(Already rolled.) You finish the dinner without any sort of social faux pas, as can be expected of someone who was extensively trained in etiquette. On your way out, led by a servant, you are stopped by one of the guards and handed a pouch containing 5 Koku worth of coinage, raising your current funds to 15 Koku.

Kenage gains 1 exp.

Most shops aren't open right now, so you'll need to do your shopping tomorrow morning before meeting with the Magistrate at noon to pick up Ted. You should probably see about finding the Ronin Asane before then, and make some sort of plan regarding travel rations and other such necessities.
If your travelling pack includes a small tent ((OOC: Which it can)), you can set up camp outside the village proper with other travelers. Or there is always the Sun Blossom Inn or The Luck Dragon Hotel.

Ted
You attempt to get some sleep. Hopefully the torturer won't come back and wake you before you've gotten some much needed rest...

Oshaberi
You make a request to the guards, and are informed that you may meet with the Magistrate tomorrow around noon. He also regularly holds open court in the evening, barring extraneous events, if you want to stop by later today or simply speak publicly tomorrow.

Hori
You follow the men into the camp, ready to draw your weapon at a moment's notice. Once inside, wordlessly, they lead you towards the tent by which the horse has been tied up. Inside, another Ronin is seated- unlike you, he is actually of the Samurai caste, bearing a wakizashi at his waist alongside a katana. A tetsubo leans against the tree which forms the pole of his tent, in easy reach of the man.

"Greetings, budoka-san," he says, with a slight nod of his head, pouring a second cup of what looks like sake before placing it across the table, "I am afraid that now that you have entered our camp, we cannot let you leave. If you would please disarm yourself, so that we will not have any further trouble, I would much appreciate it."

Hori wasn't a drinker. He's attempted it, but never liked it. This is just the first time he's ever had an excuse for it. He lifted a refusing hand before speaking.
-He responds, "I don't drink, sorry. Care to explain why I can't leave? And those men tied up outside?"-

Oshaberi

Thanking the guards for their assistance, Oshaberi goes to the public baths to bathe.

Go to the public baths.
