all creatures in the world werecreatures

has anybody done it? If not how would you suggest I go about trying it? I was thinking of getting some wereblood and using the infinte duplication trick to spread it all over the ocean (I don't know how to do it, only heard of it, so if somebody could suggest a few that would be nice).

Since the world stops turning once generation is finished, the only way to turn every creature into a were would be to make an adventurer, get him bitten, and then run around biting everybody... quite a bit of work  ;)

my question on the ocean still stands. would that work for all the ones who drink out of lakes?

Contaminants won't spread on offloaded maps. And most creatures don't actually drink.

Also, werebeast curses are spread through bites, not blood.  You're thinking of vampire curses there.

The best way to do this is via modding. Copy the werewolf bite and give it to EVERYTHING. Then whenever a dwarf fights an anything, it will become that weresomething.

Pretty sure this isn't possible as were-things are hard coded and randomly generated. You'd have to create your own were-animals for every animal that you deem worthy of wereness.

What about multiple bite attacks, each using a different bite syndrome, like the first bite would use an interaction that turns the bit creature into WEREBEAST_01 on a full moon? (It's a bit difficult to explain.)
