Careful application of rock to throat has been known to kill pests since 1996 (BC).
Woooo! Happy-dance happy-dance happy-dance!

Ummm, actions....

Well, it would probably be easy enough to throw a rock down its throat and cause it to choke...

(A Quest Log is something that is used to record quests. I was asking for a brief summary of the Story So Far.
Meanwhile, a log is a blunt object, therefore suited for bashing in something's skull.)

Some brave soul must ride it like a rode no on second that that isn't going to end well

Okay, shoot a laser at its eye :9

Sticking a finger in its eye and then shooting a laser would score bonus gross-points. Not that I advocate that sort of thing. And then there is the issue of losing a finger to a super-powered eyelid attack...

Gil smashes into the beast and drives it into the wall hard enough to shake dust off the ceiling.

Okay, shoot a laser at its eye :9

In its dazed and already woozy from bloodloss state, John has an opportunity to take it down. Seeing what's coming Gil jumps off of the creature and runs back to the rest of the group

He hits it directly in the eye with a quick zap of lightning. The purple electricity courses through the beasts body, causing it to spasm in it's death death throws before finally collapsing onto the floor.

Check if the logo was placed there by an external entity or generated by the creature.

It's looks like the logo was embossed on the metal plate upon the beast's head. It seems pretty clear that the creature had been altered by someone.

You pry off a few scales off of the beast's side. They don't quite seem to be made of metal, but they're a lot harder than you expected them to be.

Not wanting to waste anymore time, you continue on your way towards the exit...

Ouch, right into the off-hand back-hand...

I vote for a bout of catatonia followed by some running away to the next village over...
