Reports > Select report > Zoom to location

After zoom it would be cool to be able to go back to previously selected report since you usually check multiple reports and report locations.

Going back pre-zoom would be kind of useless compared to simply improving what to zoom to.  For example, the supposedly inaccessible object when "object inaccessible," or "couldn't find path."  Usually these announcements don't come until the dwarf cancels the job, at which point there's no way to tell which item was tasked or supposed to be tasked for the job.  Usually these announcements zoom us to the dwarf.  Well, the announcement contains the dwarf name, I can figure out his location on my own, I want to know what the hell is causing the problem.  Also, zoom to masterpiece would be great as well.
