Do you really think I would answer these questions? One thing I will do is say that you're nowhere even near asking yourselves all the questions I've laid bare for you yet, let alone find the answers. I am providing you all with a main plotline, and at the same time, you are the plotline. I tried this in the last Godhood I managed, but now I really think it is working out as it should. Let me just say that if you want to ask yourselves some more of the right questions, you need only follow the Phoenix' main theme in my flavor posts and pay capital attention to letters.

Letters? Guh?

I have a troubling feeling that there's fluff in the older games I've forgotten that is important here. Also, wasn't Nativa the Overgoddess' name in tge second game?

Oh well, I kinda expected that answer. No matter, I will get to the bottom of things myself.
I suppose the best writing is one which doesn't give away everything immediately.

I can answer this question. Yes, Nativa was in fact her name.

The final description of the owl 'gives quite a lot of meat and feathers' made me think of hack'n'slash games.

It's a polite way of saying they grow fat if you feed them regularl :)

As for the entities... I suppose we'll find out, one way or another. I just hope we won't get caught between the hammer and the anvil, should the Phoenix and its Mother start to fight.

Done. I was tempted to make werebaboons but thought it would be kinda hard to conceal that.

EDIT: Also, I now wished I had chosen an emu or cassowary for my characteristic animal.

Xarn -> Nativa -> ??? (Pheonix?)

Somewhere in that is The Scholar and maybe Poena.  From what I understand, all the Godhoods are set in the same Caesarverse - a Caesarverse which does involve Astra'ath and his clones raping world after world after world...

Astra'ath is a mere minor manifestation of the pinnacle events I won't detail. There's far worse things out there. Astra'ath was just a god with a rare talent to travel between universes.

I wonder; Will the gods go to sleep after each turn?

Depends. Right now we are more akin to major spirits or minor patron deities than full-fledged olympians. We all have an act each and spending those sends us into sleep. I bet after we get more acts and more worship, the pace will quicken and we won't have to take naps all the time.

Also, the entire story with Astra'ath got me really intrigued. Now I'm looking forward to putting together a strong pantheon.

That seems logical, but maybe this sleep is tied to the nature of the world itself. (And it allows caesar to create more diverse outcomes for our events since the time span between the acts of the gods would be bigger.)

Or maybe the spirits will be able to escape/break the cycle somewhen.

I love watching you speculate. ^^
I don't know whether I should feel sorry for abusing your curiosity as a torture tool against you all or that I should feel good for giving you some intrigue to involve yourselves in.

Regardless:

Announcement

I have said this before, but I would like to stress again that today I am leaving on vacation up until ~27th of August. As far as I know I will have Internet access there so I will continue running the game at nights. There is the possibility however that there's none. I will let you know on Friday or Saturday if I do indeed have this fabled connection.

I hope the Archer's subconscious memory-manipulating shenanigans don't cost my Act. I did say he did that without realizing it on the app, the poor deluded fool, and it's hardly a big effect. I'm not very satisfied with this post, anyway, too much pointless talkin'. Oh well.

I'm trying to get some godly interaction going on here, if that wasn't obvious. Though... is Atilliano on vacation, too? Anyway, it's his call if he sees through the Archer's mortal disguise or not. Or if he just tries to eat all four hunters.

I'm assuming most of the tribes are in the same general region from things in Caesar's post, but if needed I'll remove references to Screamers.
