Narte looked at the other people. They were already assembling teams and preparing to take joint action. He wished he did not care, he wished that did not affect him. But it still did, a little, because it just remembered him that the only person to ever accept him was his father.
He clenched his teeth; more people meant sharing the gains, so if he went solo in that mission that had the lowest threshold...He could get more credits. He bit the tip of his thumb while wishing he could introduce himself properly to the other members; but he knew it would just be better if he didn't. A wide smile appeared on his face and he resumed his usual cheerful way of acting.

Narte skips to the lounge mission board, starts to stare at the 0xF0D121 mission and wonder how to sign in. His eyes flip over to the 0x40B752 mission for a moment before going back to the first one.

((Ruark, not Rurark.)

"Welcome aboard Jade," Ruark said, tipping his head to both her and Cecil. "You have an idea on where you want to start? Myself, I'm leaning towards 121 or 324 as teeth-cutters, though we'll need an extra set of hands for 324. What do you think Dorian?"

"Then looks like we're a team for now, is there anything you think we'll need before hand, or can we get going? Shade replied to Carl, and Serat before fingering her revolvers lightly, and turning to head out when an agreement had been reached.

"I am fine for now. Can go if you can." Serat answered. No point in spending money, if you dont know what you might need.

Narte notes that there is are briefing terminals in a number of small, secure rooms surrounding the lounge.

All of Narte's act fell apart in the few seconds it took him to realize he had to make his choice at that moment; the choice between teamwork and risking dying alone. He started to play with his closest piece of equipment anxiously (his pistol), looking like a lost child.

Narte waits for everyone to pick their missions. If most of them go for the 0xF0D121, then he chooses 0x203B82. Otherwise, he picks 0xF0D121.

Dorian idly scratches his cheek as he examines the bulletin-board. "324 and 121 were my first choices as well, Johnny boy. I think we should get some more intel before we make a decision."

So saying, Dorian ambles to a briefing terminal and punches up the data for the aforementioned missions.

Sevten speaks up. "I would also like to join Mission 0xF0D121.", and whirring over, writes his name on the paper for those joining mission 0xF0D121.

Carl shrugged.
I guess I'm ready. We wanna use any of the services in this place before we set off?
While saying this, he walks over to the mission board and writes his name next to mission B82

Ruark nodded and grinned to Jade. "Well, I guess that means it's time to get to work."

Submit a group listing consisting of Dorian, Jade, and myself. Then, time permitting, assist Dorian in pulling up info on mission 121 and 324. Pay special attention to getting floor plans and security rosters for mission 121.

>324 intel;
Mission 0x105324 : SALESMAN
  Must pick up ten packages of gunpowder at any Cartel base, and deliver to Tabatan government. The salesprice is not set; therefore, the Cartel members who accept this mission must find a way to extract as much price as they can. The base cost for the gunpowder is one hundred credits per package. You must make at least 50% margin or more. The customer will most likely pay up to 1500 without much prodding, but you must remember that the more margin you make, the more that goes back into your funds. The base cost of the product is covered by the Cartel.

@Attachment: Map of Underearth, sections N23W~N29W.
@Attachment: Seal of Providence, required to enter Tabatan cities.

>121 intel;

Mission 0xF0D121 : BREAKTHROUGH
  The Imperials have the advantage of consent of ruler and infinite funds on their side. They create from the ether what we can only dream of. However, being the standing powers, they also must defend themselves from every group under the sun. As a ill-though-out 'security measure', they have decided to compartmentalize the research they are doing and only assemble it at the most secret of their bases. They do not have the forces to guard every single lab; thus, they have randomly spread the Imperial Thorns and Flowers along with regular troops and hope we would not notice. We did. One of the labs is thought to have a critical part of the puzzle they are solving. Enter, extract, and destroy.

@Attachment: C4 coupon - Can purchase up to ten units of C4 at 50% the price; may also return previously bought C4 and repurchase at half, or trade in C4 for a special, higher-end product at full price.

>B82 intel;
Mission 0x203B82 : WHERE'S MY RATIONS\questionmark
  An outlying Imperial post, guarded by a single squad of twelve men, is in the perfect place to be cut off from supplies. They receive supplies once every two weeks. Going without supplies is the perfect way to shake them out of their heavily automated and fortified base. If they are tricked into leaving the base, we can enter and extract all instances of expensive or complex tech.
The supplies are rarely guarded by humans; they are usually escorted by sentinel robots.

Spoiler: Syra Liene (click to show/hide)

James strode over to the table and examined each item in turn. After loading up and paying for everything he motioned to the robot that he wanted to talk to him while walking over to the Kitsune, You seem like the skilled type, he said to her, Any interest in a partnership?

The woman turned and faced the man, considering the prospect. She then nodded after brushing off a stray hair on her wrist, "A partnership? I'm interested, but I'm taking the the mission entitled 'Where's My Rations?'. Supplies are vital to all operations. Here," she handed him the paper with her name on it. "if you're interested."

One Cartel member interested in robotics, and with the guise of someone far older than her. This would be interesting. There were others on the mission too, by the looks of it.

Very interesting indeed...

((Draft affirmed for me))

Syra spoke after seeing the draft. "So we are to strike at the base, or at the convoy? Or await the dropoff and then retrieve the supplies?" She did not take the notion of destroying needed rations and goods lightly. Stealing was a bit harder, she guessed, but with four of them at this mission, if would be easier to share the load.
