And then ask how to get the runes translated...

I press the button marked with a rune that most looks like a cat, the third one.

I hear a rumbling, but nothing else happens.

The next room is the Armory, which is explained to be a place where weapons and armor is kept. It's quite empty right now, but if I collect any weapons or such, they'll be stored here, where I can check them out.

After that is the kitchens, the Study, filled with books on advanced necromantic arts that I can't read (damn linguistic drift), and finally, the Cellar/dungeon.

Me and Jack look into the stairwell into the dungeon. It's very dark down there, and no torches are lit...

If this doesn't work, just grab a torch from somewhere.

Oh hell yes, I was thinking of making something like this but you beat me to it.
PTW

Does Lenen happen to know the Continual Light spell? If not, ask someone if there is such in the castle. We need a solid light source to work by.

I descend into the dungeons, a tan-colored light blazing on the end of my staff.

Soon I stand in front of an Occupied cell, a heap of rags and hair kneeling inside and chained to the walls. All of them.

What do I say?

Check to see if she is conscious first. Ask your guide if there is any food available, and bring her some of that and some water. Let Lenen see if he can get her talking. She is probably pissed as all hell at us right now, but we at least need to find out what she was doing here in the first place etc. etc.

EDIT: And while we're at it lets see if we can find out how she came to be stalking us like that, anyway; weren't several doors kinda... gone? Was she waiting in the 'Throne Room' for us and then followed after? Probably she didn't attack sooner 'cause we still had our army with us.

Be polite, courteous, and considerate, and apologise for being unaware of precisely how to disable the restraints, also express some concern that they might seek to do you harm were they released...
