We went on the TS and we made one. Including panzy. We made it a republic because that had the most votes, n' that was it.

So I played this last year, has it gotten more fun?  All I did before was make a bunch of neat-but-ultimately-identical colonies and small, boring ships on a hunt for the Galactic Core.
