Military getting clothing bad thoughts?
« on: May 06, 2012, 04:29:54 am »

My military dwarves are getting unconvered bad thoughts even though as far as I can tell they are fully clothed. Military uniform is helm, mail shirt, greaves, gauntlets, high boots, and a cloak. I've also been producing trousers, dresses, vests, socks, shoes, and hoods to see if that would fix it but the stupid dwarves still feel like their naughty bits are hanging out.

edit: so it looks like just producing enough of the stuff solved the stupid dwarves problem, even though they didn't go put any of it on...

Have you tried metal leggins and greaves? That works for me.

This uniform works for me:

(I don't have trousers here. Leaving it empty seems to help Dwarves keep them on when putting greaves over them, but you will need to have enough trousers for all of your civilians and have the uniform set to over clothing).

Wait, just how much can you stack individual pieces of armor on a single dwarf O_o

That should be a new type of project, making a rug design in dwarf fortress (With accurate coloring)
