The next two turns will be based out of Travis' Camp. After looking at his maps and talking to his men, you find the following places to be points of Interest.

Travis’ Camp: Has medical facilities, lodging, safe spots for magical experimentation, and opportunities to interact with Travis and his Clockwork Devil army. Clockwork Devils are notorious gamblers, and may be willing to bet Money, Enchantment Knowledge, Enchanted Goods, or even Travis’ Secrets on the outcome of a game or sporting event. Travis is well guared, making assassination attempts difficult.

Orc Camp: 1 Hour walk from Travis’ camp. The Orc are an interesting people, peddling brutal weapons and spellbooks. They have an arena to fight in, and a Shaman who sells interesting magical stuff.

Veilton: 1 Hour walk from Travis’ Camp. A nearby town inhabited by humans and halflings. It is the standard high fantasy town with the standard high fantasy trappings.

Blacknova Forest: 1 Hour walk from Travis’ Camp. A magical forest to explore. Good place to look for magical herbs or random events.

Ancient Crypt: 2 Hour walk from Travis’ Camp. An unexplored system of tombs. Great place to search for Necromancy supplies or random events.

Goo Nest: 2 Hour walk from Travis’ Camp. A system of caves flooded with slime and ooze type monsters. Good place to loot fallen adventurers and/or find random events.

Spellchant Monastary: 3 Hour walk from Travis’ Camp. A monestary devoted to the goddes of magical knowledge. The monks there will be willing to help anybody other than Henry learn spells.

Wraxind’s Lair: 3 Hour walk from Travis’ Camp. Wraxind is a mighty storm dragon and member of the Chaos Circle. He would be glad to teach Travis some wind rituals, or induct other PCs into the Circle. He is also a dragon with a lair full of swag to be looted.

12 Hours-Studying the Handbook to Portal Key Mechanics

Needing a bit or rest before the big journey, Kath decided to dive into the book on Portal Keys-she was still wearing one around her neck, after all. She would approach it with an air of a college paper-taking a quiet spot in her room, making notes on her recorder and generally learning everything she could.

She would earmark money for Kestrel for lingering questions, as well.

In the end, Kath wouldn't have minded a place of her own-and, a safehouse of sorts...

At the Plains of Valor

2 Hours-Volunteer to help at the local medical facilities, pick up some skills and maybe left over supplies.

Make sure to ask the Healers if Water Magic can be applied to Healing wounds.


Kathryn had an idea Water magic could be turned to Healing-stitching wounds, cleansing blood and such-but it was undeveloped. She decided practicing her somewhat rusty first aid skills might be a boon.

10 Hours-Visit Wraxind with Henry, watching his back, and inquire about joining this Chaos Circle myself, or finding a Water based patron?

1 hour: walk to Blacknova Forest
I suppose I can use the chance to get a bit of exercise. There isn't time to do much else.
3 hours: Explore Blacknova forest
I'm not sure what I'm looking for in this place, but there can't be much harm in exploring it.
3 hours: walk to Spellchant Monastery
I suppose I'll read Simple Spells for those with an Internal Magic Supply while I walk there.
5 hours: spell composition at Spellchant Monastery
If I can't learn how to use my internal source to heal on my own, then maybe the monastery can help me.

Two hours: Prepare throwable petrification. +4 knowledge +1 focus +1 limitation +2 mundane skill. -0 to -4 difficulty. Total +8 to +4

Ten hours: Visit Wraxind.
It would be nice to meet some of the other non hostile members of the circle. And maybe I could even learn from him.

2 hours: Go to the Orc Camp and see what's for sale there. Also check if they're interested in buying Phoenix Tears, a flashlight, demon souls, pepper, paprika, rubbing alcohol, mysterious chemicals or a stolen chess set.
2 hours: See above, except in Veilton.
3 hours: Go the Spellchant Monastary.
4 hours: Consult with the Plant Mage's Journal to find a spell that would imitate the effects of the Emerald Wand. 1d80+4+1+2+2+2+??? for Knowledge, having the Emerald Wand to study, using the Red Monocle of Handwriting Decipherment on the book, the advice of the Magus Tome, Mundane Skill: Botany and Mysterious Monk Modifiers.
1 hour: Show the monks the blueprint for the Oven of the Gods, and ask if they'd be willing to bless a holy item for its construction.

Also, I am willing to pay Henry 500$ for an explaination of the Chaos Circle.

Luck is at a +0 bonus, if you need to roll a luck roll for some random event on the highway.

I think we went over it in the session before you got in. We aren't doing a turn at the mansion, and we're not doing a double turn. We're going to be stuck in the valor place for a while(real time), and so we won't be doing any "regular" forum turns until we're done with that. On the bright side, dragons and forests and monasteries, oh my. On the downside, any plans we had will have to be delayed.

Good work D. I'm sure the judge will drop a decent sum of Aura for that writing.

Also turn rolled and actions locked. For the love of god, IF YOU DON'T CALCULATE YOU OWN MOD, AT LEAST POST YOUR STATS. NEXT TIME I'LL JUST ASSUME YOUR STAT SCORE IS 1 IF IT IS NOT POSTED.

I got the Mod System down pretty good now as well. Just include your stats in your action posts to save me the trouble of sorting through PMs. I can figure out your mods if you don't want to.
