So, does anyone have an objection to me selling Necromancer's Delight to the local necromancer community? On one hand, it'll probably bring in quite a bit of money for me/the New Order, but on the other hand, it'll also be making puker undead available to necromancers everywhere. I suppose I'll have to be very insistent that they behave with it.

Kathryn was sitting cross-legged on Henry's bed when he entered his room-it looked like she had been meditating, almost.

"There you are, Henry...I needed to talk to you.

While we were in Valour, Wraxind gave me a box. I'm part of the Chaos Circle now, it's odd I didn't mention it before,...but, it's very important I deliver this, to prove myself to the Great Kwal. I'll be taking a plane ride, not a day from now...all the way to New York.

See, I've got to deliver it to Andre Levithias Steelman. If you've read the Forbes 500, you know who he is. Or seen that show. He's the guy who says 'You're fired!'.

He's actually a Dragon, you know. Did you read the file? Check out case 76, yeah.

Ummm...what I'm getting at, is that I might get held up. I intend to be back in a day, but...well, he's a Dragon. And I think he's attached to me, in a way. They're very possessive. And he's indicated he wants to possess...me. Not that I intend to let him."

She took Henry's hand.

"I'm not sure how he would react to the knowledge of you, Henry. He might...well, he breathes fire and he's bigger than a three story townhouse. I'm not going to ask you to come along. I won't keep you from coming with me...but, I sort of want to handle this myself. You're still busted up, Henry. I don't want you getting hurt on my account.

I mean, Andre's not exactly evil...just not Human. I think I can handle him."

You know, if you want to take me along, I can slay the dragon if it decides to get fresh on you. I have experience in dragon slaying.

I dunno, Kathryn is ensorceled to think the Chaos Circle is the most awesome thing ever absolutely. I doubt she'd agree to a kill the Dragon plan.

Well, yes. But here's how that conversation would go:

Ariel, Kathryn, Henry, et all are sitting at the table around dinner. Kathryn brings up the topic of going on a trip to deliver a box to a dragon:

Kathryn (paraphrased):
"I'm planning to fly to [Insert Location Where Dragon Lives] for a day so I can deliver a package from Wraxind to An'dargoth. Henry's [staying here|coming with me] so try not to burn the house down while [I am|we are] out of town."
Ariel:
"I could come with you and protect you from the big bad dragon. I've slain one before, and now I'm all ethereal, so it should be a peice of cake to put this Andre fellow down if he starts getting fresh."
Kathryn (paraphrased):
"I really really don't want to kill the Dragon. The Chaos Circle's the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I don't want to let them down."
Ariel:
"So, you're going to go in without a plan for having to deal with him if he tries to eat you? Even after he's said that he wants to..." Ariel shudders here "...possess you? Are you sure you're feeling OK, Kat?"

[Dwarmin]

Not sure if the GM's will buy the unraveling on my mind screwing so quickly.

Cause, it'd go like this!

Kathryn
"What do you mean, Ariel? The Circle would never send me on a mission where I could possibly be harmed...and if they did, it would be because I deserved it. The Circle is never wrong."

"I doubt that is true. The Circle often fights with itself, and it is a organization of chaos. I bet it is in the wrong almost as often as it is in the right...

So though. What made you decide to join so fast? I thought you would need to think it over."

[Dwarmin]

Kathryn seems to go blank for a moment.

"...I can't say why. But it must have been a good reason.

I met the Great Kwal, and she convinced me of everything. There was nothing to think over."

"To put it simply, Kwal is...inconceivable. She's...not technically a woman, though I think of her that way, like a Mother. I never knew my Mother, not really. I don't why I said that...

..Kwal, she takes the form of a giant Jellyfish, but she's also a Goddess. I went to her, and she poured herself into me, and we were one being...and when she let me out, I knew her intentions were pure and good-and that the Circle was an extension of that divine will. She just wants to help me achieve my destiny."

I'd prefer to be doing this without all the bodily harm. I'll have to try and go back into that spell while I'm training... Anyway, this job probably won't get done if it's not done now. I'll try and talk them down, but I've fought through the pain before. Anyone who won't listen to reason, or tries to cause a scene, well they'll be beaten into submission by everything I've got. I don't have time to deal with their attempts to grab power.

I'm not sure what exactly I'll need to do to bolster my internal source, but I'll try whatever I can that doesn't involve leaving my... floor bed, I guess is what one would call it.

I figured on a mechanical level it would either increase my health, let me perform stronger spells, or make spells like Magic Deluge drain less of my health. I mostly just wanted to see how you would interpret it.
