New forum mode rules:

Timeframe mods:
1 Hours -30
2 Hours -15
3 Hours -5
4 Hours 0
5 Hours +5
6 Hours +10
7 Hours +15
8 Hours +20
9 Hours +25
10, 11, or 12 Hours +30
Actions that can reasonably be performed in 3 hours or less do not have the chart applied to them (Nobody is gonna do a 5 hour workout, and some spells can be clearly cast in a specific amounts of time based on their description)

Crits and mods in general will also change some. PCs add their single biggest applicable positive mod and their single biggest applicable negative mod, and nothing else. Automatic critical fails fall on natural 1-5, with mods applied on a natural 5-10 for the save.

4 hours: Work on a coming up with another ritual, try to get something that allows me to control earth. (+20 from 45 knowledge) +20

4 hours: Read through the Plant Magus Journal, hoping to identify the seeds that were found with the book. +20 from Knowledge.
4 hours: Go to the gardens and cast Inanimate Voice, to see if I can have a conversation with my tomato plants. +20 from Connection.
2 hours: Exercise time! Jumping jacks, sit-ups and push-ups out in the garden. Hopefully this will improve my abyssmal body stat. -15 due to time.
2 hours: Wander the house, conversing with the furniture using Inanimate Voice. -15 from time, but +20 from Connection for a net of +5.

I'd also like to ask if anyone is interested a collaborative project involving that demon I've recently found. I'm sure one of you has some kind of use for a demon-in-a-jar.

Kathryn would continue her training, going for calisthenics and yoga practice today.

4 Hours/Kickboxing Practice [hand to hand combat] (Body: 40, at +10 Mod, -0 Time Mod...final, +10)
Kathryn rounded out her exercise with some hand to hand combat drills, against a hastily constructed target dummy.

4 Hours/Practicing Water Effects (Connection: 32, at +10 Mod, +0 Time Mod...final, +10)
Water magic was tricky to control, but she was getting the hang of it, and decided to put in some extensive practice...it wasn't as hard to snag Henry with a warm smile and a tug of the arm to be her audience-he was practicing his rituals all day. Kathryn had to admit, she liked 'distracting' him, sometimes on purpose.

3 Hours/Internet research on the local School for the Hidden Curriculum mission
Kathryn decided to do a bit of delving-not only current events, but looking for anything strange that happened in the schools past, and possibly whatever was there before. Witch Burning, Brutal murder or Indian burial ground would be a nice find.

I could potentially make a body for it to live in, if you can still control it like that. I also am in contact with a much more powerful mage who could give advice about it, but I am sorta afraid of contacting her because I have no idea about her and how often it is appropriate for me to contact her yet.

The demon's not under my control yet. I've got it imprisoned but not bound to my service. It's too powerful for me to feel safe trying to bind without more practice.

Then I most likely can't do anything with it other then possibly use it as a power source.

Since we can get Aura from stealing from each other, not that anyone of us would I am sure, should the spells we gain be in the actual turn reports? It seems like that makes it much easier to steal the things.

I'd recommend rethinking the separation of time bonuses. Getting a -30 on most things just because you're only working for an hour is kind of ridiculous, and incredibly restraining in what can be done. Right now we can either do something so mundane that the penalty isn't counted, or deal with it and have everything take four or more hours.

4 hours - continue reading and memorizing Trials of a Dark Artist[+10]
Something needs to be done today...
8 hours - experiment(time + 20)(focus + 5)[+25]
The bowless arrow was too weak on its own. It needs an amp. The focus of this experiment is making the Skull Centipede go around my index finger like a ring and amplify the power of projectiles launched this way.

I'm going on record as saying giving players incentives to steal from each other is wrong.

Then again, I *am* the only one who has no choice but to practice her magic in public, so, uh, rob me? <_<

It depends what it means by 'allow'. "Allowing another mage to steal the knowledge of one of your spells." Sounds like it is ones own responsibility to guard their spells, if someone gets one in any way it counts as the mage allowing it.
