Kathryn hadn't actually played the flute in a few years...ironically, Shelly probably had more to teach her! She was interested in not only encouraging Shelly's skills, but learning how to tandem their magic as one. It might be very useful...

3 Hours-Practice Spell: Pressurize Water, with Molly the Water-Elemental (+1 Time, +2 Mod, +1 Focus, +? New pool?, +? Molly's help)

Kathryn was, for all intents and purposes a 'late bloomer' in magic. The water Elemental Molly was younger, and almost as good as her. She decided to befriend her, learn some tricks...it might develop into friendly competition, she hoped.

6 Hours-Find my Kobold Friend, Round 2! Pay Kestrel for translating the new message, then follow up on the lead.

Kathryn had no idea why she cared so much...maybe she was going soft, but this was a job she had to see through to the end. She couldn't hope Henry would follow her all day again-however much she enjoyed his company-so, she was prepared to do this by herself.

Who knows if it is possible. But it seems that lately we have been going into quite a few dangerous situations. If there was a way to protect the others Henry would need to look into it.

LA Jobs:

(NEW) Hit-List 1: (7 Days Left) Sapphire and Kestrel have identified several mages in the LA area looking to seize power for themselves. Align with, intimidate, talk down, or kill them all.
(NEW) Hero Time: (7 Days Left) Without Archmages around to keep such behavior in check, the mundane and good looking people of LA are now under the constant threat of being snatched and sold to some foreign Archmage or Demon lord. We have located a large multiplanar Mail Order Bride/Slave service opperating out of the local airport. Shut em down.
Enemy Mine: (3 Days Left) Thanks to a snitching Kobold, all parties involved now understand the the LA werebeing community is heading for civil war. Both sides are racing to fetch the Moonbane Weapons; poweful artifacts meant for killing werebeings. Ruffian has sent his goons to fetch it, and our allies have hired somebody perhaps just as bad...

San Deigo Jobs:
(NEW) Bajahahahaha!: (15 Days Left)  The neighboring Baja Peninsula Magic Society has been trying to seize San Deigo as their own for some time now. The lack of Archmages to stop them is worrisome. Kill off some of their scouts and spies to make them think twice about a full scale invasion.

I completely forgot about the two turns you ran before the session. It was just so uncharacteristic of you that it bended the way time works in my head. And it figures that the jobs Harman would be great at come after he dies.
If we somehow get three turns in before the session, we should probably spend a turn doing it. If we only get two or fewer, then I vote we do it next session.

Also voting for Enemy Mine this next session.

Since the plan to deal with that biker gang is out, why don't we work together on some practical magic for the upcoming jobs? We currently have a dearth of stealth magic, which will be very useful in basically all of our jobs in the mundane world.

Sounds good. The job doesn't say "archmages" just regular mages. And since we're each individually rather impressive, I figure that we could each take one mage to deal with, based on who's the best for that particular job.

So this session, assuming Haika and Weird don't grind through turns like beasts, we do Enemy Mine. Then next session, unless something more interesting comes up, we should do the Adam Sandler speak job so we can get a proper introduction to the new faction. Then we spend some time in between to do the other jobs?

People are probably going to vote for doing Hero Time after this one, since there's a certain urgency about stopping human trafficking that's going on right now vs. dealing with spies that are going to cause us problems in a somewhat distant future. Pragmatically speaking though, we'd actually be better off dealing with the archmage problems, since if Archmage Sweeny is anyone to judge by, each foreign archmage is killing dozens of people each day while the human trafficking cartel is "merely" enslaving one or two a day tops.
