Which is naturally, a question.

Can NPC's our characters specifically champion earn Aura as well, if we keep track of it?

Not for our own characters aura banks, but for themselves. Shelly would use her aura to upgrade her equipment and spells and such. It could be a nice way to gauge NPC advancement.

Eight hours: The heist: Using my mud oozes and any information on her schedule that the mimic has picked up over the past week or so the mud oozes are to sneak into Tohsaka room and search for the Orb of macguffin. If they find it and are able to get it to me that is great, if also possible they should try to take other objects and hide them around the house. Then maybe also steal small objects from other places and hide them to throw off suspicion that they were after the orb. If any are caught I will deny that I know about their actions of course and claim they manged to slip from my control enough to go do these things. There are a lot of mods here... I'm not really sure where to begin. I don't know what stat to use, but: +? From the mimics knowledge +? from the mud oozes being so small and sneaky. Maybe my focus counts here since the mud oozes are doing it.

Four hours: Find a safe place and Contact Terraphidite about the orb. +2 knowledge +1 limitation.

Four hours: Set up more throwable earthquakes to leave them over night. I can do that right? +4 knowledge. +1 focus. +1 personal limitation. +2 Mundane skill. -0 to -4 difficulty. +4 to +8 total.

I was told to learn some form of fighting to defend myself since my spells tend to take time to set up. I didn't exactly have the time to learn anything before being called here, so I should probably do that before I forget. T'ai Chi was recommended to me since it would build up leg strength and wasn't incredibly hard to learn, so I guess I'll research that. I'll try and find some beginner lessons online for it until I can afford to have Kestrel find me a teacher.

I might as well go with someone to a private area of the magical community and practice magic. I need to improve my control over magic so I can contain or move my spells without fear of them going out of control, and I should probably learn how to detonate armed magic on my own, and without fire or electricity.
Dwarmin, to answer your question, yes. NPCs can have aura. This doesn't mean they have a lot of it.

For GM convenience, the 8 hours turn is actually two 4 hour turns, I just didn't want to have two parts in a row doing the same basic action with the same mods.

Crypt. I'd say split up your action into a luckstat based theft attempt. (You have no direct control over the situation, so I think it comes down to luck), and then a separate use of your contact Terraphidite spell.

Have a backup action planned for the contact Terraphidite timeslot in case the theft fails.

8 Hours/Taking Carpetbaggers Mission with Team

For reasons known only to Sapphire, they didn't have much more time to deal with the out of town mages...this one would be close.

4 Hours/Run down two leads-The Kobold and Lisa

Kathryn knew the Kobold would not bother to lie-he'd likely readily admit it, if she confronted him-which was her plan. She wouldn't hurt him. He was already dead, like her, so what could she do?

If it didn't pan out, after that, she would pay a probably unpleasant visit to Lisa. Kathryn had no intention of hurting the girl (though, she was aware the 'girl' was actually quite dangerous on her own), but she did intend to force a confession from her-the knowledge Henry was hurt because of something she did would help that-and might allow her to see who Ruffian really was. At that point, having Lisa personally confess to Howl would be punishment enough.

If either of these was the case, Kathryn would just accept there was no one to gain revenge on, in lieu of Ruffian...

She had to give Lisa some points. Angels were pretty hot. And this was also...particularly cool. Heh.

Her Angel-Friend had shown some truly amazing Aquamancy (or so the magic seemed to Kath) to her the day before, probably in an attempt to impress and/or get into her pants. She didn't really intend to do so, but asking him for help developing her magic seemed like a great idea. She just had to make sure asking him 'Could you...help me develop my magic?' wasn't perceived as a come on...

(NEW) Kings of the Road: (7 Days Left) A biker gang has been terrorizing Chinatown. The gang, calling themselves The Pharaohs, consists of and victimizes mostly of mundane people. Mages and demons however make up the leadership of the group. They must be stopped.
(NEW) Don't Drop the Soap: (7 Days Left) The prisoners within The Orange County Penitentiary for Supernatural Affairs were put into suspended animation when the archmages started dying. We have detected that somebody has breached the prison and is thawing out the prisoners a few at a time! Investigate.
Its a Wild World: (4 Days Left) It has come to our attention that some mythical creatures are currently housed in the local zoo. free them or destroy them beyond recognition.
Special Job: Surfs Up: (2 Days Left) Extra dimensional jocks, bros, and frat boys have figured out that this region is a lawless wasteland, and are throwing a huge beach party/surf contest in town. While this job is active, anybody may work on the beach as a supervisor for 100 USD an hour. For each three hours spent at the party you will encounter a luck based random event.

I will probably be updating that soonish. But here's a reminder of what is on the board. If you want to do one, better give it a try before next session, as I plan to fully replace them by then. Some or most of the Aura Shoppe items will be replaced as well(this may come after the next turn or so).
