Personally, here's what I'd do:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

But whatever. The game's well written enough that you could seriously just be rolling straight d100s and I'd still be down to play.

I don't really stand in one place or another on this issue. I mean, the game itself seems self balancing since any system we use our enemies will as well. The only issue is with the current system immersion is not as easy.

That said! Base time on rituals four hours? Maybe. I dunno though. That's a really long time for certain spells. Base time on a spell by spell basis seems like a better idea if it is do able.

Speaking of rituals, I'm still not entirely sure why mine involves facing west at sunset while waste-deep in ocean.

Because magic works on laws that have almost nothing to do with the normal world.

What does your ritual do by the way?

It generates a whip of water that "can cut through just about anything." I'd have prepared it for the stone giant or shawks if I had known beforehand how devastated we'd be last session. If we get another turn after this one before next session, I'm most certainly going to prep it.

What job has everyone voted on so far?

That's a weird one to do. The Blender guy seems like a bigger priority, and it would be our first trip to hell.

I forgot to ask in my turn post; is everyone happy with the distribution of loot I'm doing in the interaction bit?

I have a gun. So. Uh. I dunno.

I also seem to have some pity fighting gifts from the GMs, so I might not even need the gun.

Didn't the gun explode beyond repair? Or did you somehow get a new one?

It's still nice to have something melee as backup for when enemies get close.
Also, if anyone needs anything but can't afford it, I'm working on becoming an endless funnel of money for the team, so feel free to ask.

Do chores, solo jobs that seem reasonably easy to solo(mostly assassinations, because Harman is Harman), and never spend the money on anything, excluding the occasional restocking of arrows. Jobs give enough money that the cost of replacing them is easily replaced by the reward if done correctly. I've done a chore, and a solo job, and I'm currently at $11,160.
As long as I can build up my modifiers(which has become substantially more difficult) and don't take on anything stupidly difficult, I can potentially earn over $10,000 a day.

First, an updated
Spoiler: Inventory (click to show/hide)

Second, I want to change my mission vote to the Great Escape. Lillipad convinced me. Yeah, yeah, werewolves are bad. But maybe we can put Palorur in charge of the Board of Subhuman Affairs and send him to deal with it once we free him.

And, finally, speculation as to why Harman needs to face west at sunset while standing waist-deep in the ocean: According to many mythological traditions, the Afterlife is located over the ocean to the west, where the sun goes every night when it is swallowed up by the earth. So, going with that theory, the spell probably requires that you view the metaphorical "death of the sun" in order to force the waters of the sea to take on an aspect of destruction powerful enough to 'cut through just about anything'. But I don't really know much at all about how your magic works, so yeah.
