You grab the spider in attempt to make it your pet, but after you lick it, it bites your tounge. Your tounge is now green, pulsing and swelling at an alarming rate.

errr throw knife at fan control... make it be off, if you cannot find the fan control and do not have enough energy to smelt fan throw knife at it instead

if all else fails lick the spider again and hope its venom is magical and counteracts itself

You know there's a way to get out of this that you saw in ye olde picture house, but you can't quite remember what!
