Still, mine carts will make this an awesome way to troll the invading trolls.
"Oh, you're here to break my stuff? Here, have some zombies to break."
For bonus points, if the trolls start destroying mine cart tracks, the cart is pretty much guaranteed to stop right where the breaking happens... so that's where the zombies will end up being dispatched from. I like having a system that can be adapted for changing situations  8)

Any invaders migrants will be set upon and eaten by the zombie hordes.

Any vampire migrants will be spared, so this will very quickly sort out who is who.

Your overall fortress population would be very low because of this, unless you can round up migrants safely and get them to drink the kool-aid first. By kool-aid, I mean vampire blood tainted well to turn them into vampires.
