Initiating Space Combat RoutineFiring is simultaneous. If you attempt any other sort of action, the ship that is firing goes first.
To hit you have to roll a accumulative 6 or higher. 6-7 is a grazing hit. 8-9 is a standard hit. 10 is a critical hit.
I have also decided that there are three areas of the ship: Hull, Weapons, and Engines. If your engines are hit you will take an evasion reduction(-3), and if your weapons are hit, you can't fire. With standard firing, there is an 80% chance of hitting the hull, 10% chance of hitting the weapons, and 10% chance of hitting the engines. If your engines are hit, you'll have to leave the ship behind and hitch a ride on another ship unless you can repair it(light damage only). I plan to add tractor beams soon, to allow another ship to drag your ship back to station.
As you may notice, the Pirate Frigate has a tractor beam. It reduces evasion(-1), and escape(-2).
Engine/Gun repair are automatic and free, I decided.
Probably should have mentioned this earlier, but you can't move and fire at the same time, since guns draw power from the engine and some other RP.
I have decided that hitting the engine/guns does not add to total damage. I hope I can keep track of all these rules. X_X
For simplicity's sake, Mundo's Tug/Captain does not apply to enemy accuracy rolls.

This star, once again, has no planets. You don't seem to rock at finding space rocks.
Thought I'd mention that there was a 50% chance per star to have planets. So right now your bad luck would have 12.5% chance of occurring.

I'll update profiles next time. Sorry, this is becoming increasingly time consuming per turn, so if you guys could update your own profiles(with the ship damage and location), I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'll be debating if people can come back as mercenaries(essentially, you don't get a ship and you work for one of the players still alive with a ship).
Note: You can pick up people(it takes 1 combat round, so if you want to be heroic and save Rory or something. You have to be within firing range, of course)
